Charming farm La CoLoMbE next Basel Switzerland

Experience the unique town of Basel known for it‘s carnival, museums and art collection ( 20 mins away), the beautiful Alsace and its surroundings in an original half-timbered house built in 1829. The charming and lovingly furnished housing "La CoLoMbE 1829" is a charming farmhouse which you will never want to leave. It combines the rustic country life with modern details.The owners are welcoming visitors to discover the in town golf course ( equipment available) or stay & relax. Pets lover. The space The house owns two large guest suites one with a private walk-in closet, the other large with an own fire place. Both rooms feature two large boxspring beds (160cmx200cm) and are located upstairs on the 1st floor. The stairs are very tiny, the house does not convene wheelchairs or anyone with walking disability. There is a smaller room with a single bed (80x180cm) also on the 1st floor, ideally for a child or younger adult. In the living room on the ground floor there is a sofabed welcoming two adults or two children (160cm x 200cm). The bathroom is on the ground floor and another guest toilet/Lavabo on the first floor. Please advise where you want to sleep/ we can accomodate as per your preference. There are two toilets in the house. In the Summer enjoy a BBQ on the private terrace next to the house. We can recommend delicious food shops and renomated recipes. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. We self pick our furniture which can be bought. We do recommend to arrive by car. Guest access The house owns a separate entrance and is fully used by yourself. The terrace is privately used for our guests including BBQ. We can accomodate up to two parking slots on our property. The property is fully ringfenced and ideal for dog owners, the nearby wood is beautiful for long relaxing walks. We do love families and children and pets. Other things to note The house is completely ring-fenced and welcome pets and families with children who love to play outside. There is a tractor and toys available.
