The well-equipped kitchen includes a full-sized fridge, stove with double ovens, and a family dinner table for board game nights. Relax in the inviting living room, complete with a smart TV and an array of DVDs. The secondary bedroom features a TV with DVD player. Step outside and take in the breathtaking views of the lake while enjoying the tranquility of nature. Please respect our noise restrictions and keep all gatherings within the property. We provide fresh linens, pillows, and shower towels for your convenience. Don't forget to bring your beach towels, drinking water, and ice. We also offer a small supply of firewood, and you may bring your own or collect sticks from the property. Wifi may be available at additional cost, please inquire if you would like this amenity. The updated bathroom features a flushable toilet, sink, and simple shower. Our cottage is the perfect escape for those seeking relaxation and a connection with nature. Find us at The_common_loon_str Guest access Guests will have access to the two bedroom, one bathroom cottage, oversized large covered deck and front dock. The property stretches from the boathouse across the front of the cottage and along a stone wall, if you have questions about property lines please ask or send us a text for clarification. There is a paddle boat, canoe, two adult kayaks, three child size kayaks and a row boat available for your use. These are shared with the nieghbouring cottage and are stored in the bay in between. It is recommended that all guests make sure they follow all boating regulations accordingly including proper lighting if you are on the water at night. The boat house located at the edge of the property is locked and not available for use, the beach to the north is not part of the property. There is a cove like beach to the south of the cottage that is available for your exploration and enjoyment. Other things to note The cottage is on an island and you are not able to drive your vehicle directly to it. However, the boat ride is short and you can use the canoe, Kayaks or row boat if you need to go back and forth in between the available shuttles. If you decide to cross the lake at night don’t forget your flash light for your own safety and the safety of others. Most trips between the parking area and the cottage would take less than 5 minutes without a motor. Sometimes there is a shuttle for hire for in between trips, feel free to reach out and ask us about our rates for this. There is also suitable docking for your own private boat and many options for rental companies in the area that offer pontoon boats, fishing boats, seadoos and paddle boards. Along with some firewood we provide a reasonable amount of propane for your stay. You will need to bring your own drinking water for consumption. The cottages water source is from lake and not drinkable. There is a large water dispenser if you prefer to bring a 5l jug or purchase a filled one from us. While we love pets and all the four legged friends that join the island please be sure to keep them off of all furniture (indoors and outdoors) and beds. Due to the recent ice storm in Ontario there may be some extra brush, sticks and downed trees on and around the property. The clean up efforts are on going and because of them you may hear additional noise from power equipment running at times.
