The space Villa Kassar is a serene place where you can relax after a full day of exploring Luxor, or to just recharge and have a calm day by laying around the swimming pool. The villa contains countless well designed areas to relax and hang out at. In the description below, most of the areas inside and outside the villa will be described: ★ The Garden ★ Villa Kassar has a beautiful garden with a lot of sitting places, a traditional fountain and a special swimming pool. There is a seating area in the pool where guests can sit. These seats are high enough, so that parents can also enjoy the pool with their (younger) children. The entire garden is very private and secluded from the outside by a wall and another wall of tall natural greenery. ★ Rooftop Terrace ★ The rooftop is one of the best places to gaze at the stars in the night, or to sunbathe during the sunny day. From the rooftop you can see the mountains of the Valley of the Kings, and on the other side long reaching traditional fields, where sugar cane and other delights are naturally grown. ★ 3 private areas ★ There are 3 separate areas in the villa, which all have their own front door. This is ideal for groups who enjoy to travel together, but still like some privacy. We suggest that the maximum comfortable amount of people in the villa is 10/11. ▶ Area 1 "Thebes"◀ Situated on the ground floor and with a door connected to the garden, this area is the heart of the villa. This space contains 2 bedrooms with 2 privately attached bathrooms, and a smaller guest bathroom at the entrance. There is a large sitting area with a 55 inch tv and grand sofa, as well as a large dining table. The space contains a luxurious kitchen, where you can cook yourself or have a private chef arrange the Egyptian cuisine for you and your companions. ▶ Area 2 "Ramses" ◀ This lovely space on the first floors contains 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The large private balcony makes Ramses a very enjoyable space. You can enjoy a drink while looking at the beautiful desert mountains, where The Valley of the Kings are situated. There is also a nice seating area with a modern tv and sofa. Ideal for the older kids or couples! ▶ Area 3 "Nefertari" ◀ As the queen of all apartments, Nefertari contains 2 bedrooms with 1 privately attached bathroom. The space is very comfortable and roomy for a small family or couple. The master bedroom contains a seating area and 55 inch tv with a comfortable sofa. There are also 2 French balconies. ★ Laundry area ★ There is a laundry area in a room on the rooftop terrace. Here you can wash your clothes for free. There are also multiple racks and areas to dry your clothing in- or outside the villa. Your clothes deserve a nice sunbathing as well (: ★ 2027 event ★ On August 2, 2027, witness the longest total solar eclipse of the century, over 6 minutes of totality in Luxor, one of the best viewing spots on Earth. There will be no other people staying at the villa during your stay. The outside area is also entirely private and secluded by walls. Failure to comply may lead to a refusal of stay. Rural Considerations: Luxor, being a rural area, may exhibit variations in services. WiFi may not consistently achieve peak performance, and natural elements such as sand, mud, flies, and mosquitoes might be present, particularly in the evening. Nearby mosques broadcast daily prayers through speakers. 2024 UPDATE "WiFi Matters": Ongoing WiFi upgrades on The West Bank side of Luxor may result in very slow or non-functional regular WiFi service. Our complimentary "Emergency Wifi" is available with limited data and may experience slower speeds as well. Please be aware that streaming on platforms like YouTube and Netflix may be severely limited. 2024 UPDATE "Construction Notification": A small boutique hotel (7 rooms) near the villa is currently under development. Rest assured, all exterior work has been completed, and we are in the final phase involving interior finishing. We are committed to minimizing any potential noise disturbance during your stay. Heavy-working activities have been carefully scheduled around guest stays, ensuring a quiet and comfortable environment. Power Outages: There are currently power outages occurring across Egypt and Luxor in particular. Luckily, we are situated in an area where the power outages happen much less often. The outages last 15-60 minutes, approximately 1-2 times per day. We recommend taking a refreshing swim in the pool during these moments, which is a pleasant solution to this unfortunate but widespread issue in Luxor.
