Whether you're looking for a place to unplug and focus on connecting with family and friends, have some time to yourself or need a change of scenery for telework, Manokin House is the ideal retreat. The waterfront location allows you to truly enjoy the natural beauty of the Eastern Shore. The space This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home includes a bonus loft area with two twin beds designed as a cozy kids' sleeping area. Additional interior spaces offer an open layout including a dining area with wine/beverage refrigerator, full kitchen, living room, desk workspace, 2 full bathrooms and enclosed side porch with dining table. Floor to ceiling windows in the primary bedroom and living room ensure an unobstructed water view, perfect for watching the spectacular sunsets. Outside, the spacious deck, accessible from the primary bedroom, family room and side porch, provides a double chaise lounge and a 7 person seating area with fire table. During the day, the backyard water access allows direct put in for kayaks or a stand up paddle board. The backyard is great for flying a kite or lawn games, with corn hole, soccer and frisbees available. We regularly see bald eagles and osprey nesting nearby and flying over the water. At night, enjoy s'mores at the fire table on the deck and gaze at the expansive starry night sky. Guest access Guests have full access to the property and all amenities. Other things to note Knowing what it's like to travel with young children, we aim to make this as easy as possible for families. A Baby Bjorn bouncer and travel crib, Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair, Ergo carrier, toddler plates and utensils, and a selection of toys, games and books for a variety of ages are all provided. Linens, towels, lawn games, and outdoor chairs are all included. Reliable, high speed internet is provided through Starlink. Please be aware that this location is off the beaten path. The Goose Creek Pit and Pub is 5 min away and offers a variety of options (open seasonally). Take out pizza and a grocery store are about 25 min away. If coming from the Salisbury area, you'll pass them on the way down so can easily stop on your way. The kitchen is stocked with pantry items such as oils, spices, coffee/tea, popcorn and other basics. Would it help to arrive to a fully stocked fridge?
