Welcome to our home, a home built with my own hands over the last 15 years with trees felled and milled right here. I was raised here and have lived here most of my life. My 8 year old daughter Zyla and I are deeply connected to this place. After 15 years of love and effort, the house is near-completion and we are ready to share it with you in the summers as we spend our time mostly at the beach and out on the water. This is not a traditional sterile vacation rental. The space We will be here to welcome you and available on and off to answer questions and support your stay. We will share the yard as we will continue to garden throughout the summer, however the living spaces are autonomous with a visual barrier between them. This three-bedroom home comes with a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, flush toilet, laundry, and Wi-Fi. The main room is an open-concept space with a south and east facing deck for outside eating and lounging. There are two master bedrooms. The upstairs room with a queen-sized bed, is a truly special space with an arched ceiling and a birdseye view of the world. The other master bedroom downstairs, also with a queen-sized bed, is built as a semi-autonomous suite with its own private exterior access, deck and mini fully-functional kitchen. The third bedroom is a small kid’s room with a single bed with space below for another kid's bed. The living room also hosts a very comfortable queen-size daybed. There are two bathrooms, one with a toilet and sink, and the other with bath/shower, sink and bidet. AW/4WD is a must, or I’ll bring up your luggage and you can walk a footpath. See the ‘getting around’ section. Guest access The whole house will be yours and the yard shared. Other things to note Bookings are available for six days at a time with check-in on Thursdays and check-out on Wednesdays only. I need the changeover day for cleaning, but if you want to stay more than one week please advise and I will accommodate. The kitchen and main bathroom do not have finished cabinets but rather shelves with curtains. Some bulk foods and personal affects will be stored away in the house in such a way that does not encumber your stay.
