For over a decade, we've successfully used our unique Garlic and Herbs Spray to effectively combat and prevent mosquitoes on the island. Created out of necessity, this formula has been a cornerstone of our mosquito control efforts. We're happy to share the recipe with you for your own use. The entire island is powered by solar energy, allowing you to use the air-conditioning as needed. To minimize environmental impact, please ensure all windows and doors are closed when in use. Additionally, water dispensers are conveniently located just outside your rooms for refilling pitchers and bottles. And the island is very open except for the cottage at the back of the island and the staff housing. Guest are welcome to the beach bar and use beach area facilities with the help of the receptionist or beach staff.The Spa at the top of the island may be viewed when massages are not in session or by guided tour. Guest will have access to our fully equipped kitchen. There will be an orientation at your first entry to the marine sanctuary regarding the snorkeling etiquette and share with you what we do protect the marine sanctuary. The helipad is often used for stargazing, Yoga and sunbathing Pad. Other things to note What once used to be a threatened and over-fished area is now a protected sanctuary with a dazzling array of marine and terrestrial life. Today, the island serves as an outdoor classroom for students, a research area for conservationists, and a haven for tourists eager to experience nature at its purest. 
Due to its protection, the reef has remained in a pristine state and represents one of the most beautiful and diverse shallow reefs in the country. The island is an important nesting ground for hawksbill turtles.  The reef crest, encompassing a spectacular array of hard corals, is shallow and snorkelers can see all those wonders of the underwater world which are normally only accessible to divers. Local fishermen help to significantly reduce the pressure on marine biodiversity by avoiding harmful fishing methods. We recruit most employees from the nearby barangays and teaches them the importance of protecting the coral reef and marine life. We currently have 30 employees working on the island and they have all become Coral Reef Guardians. We hope to show you how important is protecting the reef and marine life to human life. Everyone should be very aware of the extremely delicate nature of the coral reef. NEVER touch the coral or other Marine Life. Not with your finger, Not with your fin and especially Not with your feet. Even your Sun Block can poison the coral. Please use only "Coral Safe" sunblock or check with management. The island is a very natural environment . Most pathways do not have guard rails. A small fall almost anywhere will result in bandages or worse. Take good care of yourself.
