Modern Mountain Retreat steps to Giant's Head Park

Peaceful, modern retreat tucked away from the main house, giving you a fully private space to relax. No matter your vacation plans, it’s a lovely home base-a short walk to hiking & biking trails, and a 4-minute drive to the Okanagan’s most beautiful beaches. Set at the base of Giant’s Head Mountain, it’s perfect for slow mornings with coffee on the patio before heading out. Though secluded, under 1 km from downtown Summerland & under 2 km from the lake, wineries, & world-class biking. The space The suite has one cozy bedroom with a queen-sized bed, plus a comfortable La-Z-Boy pull-out sofa (also queen-sized) in the living room—great for extra guests or lounging with a good book. There’s one full bathroom and a kitchen that’s open to the living area, making it easy to cook, relax, and hang out all in one space. Outside, you’ll find two spots to enjoy the fresh air. There’s a covered patio with a BBQ, overhead misters to keep things cool on hot days, and space for four to sit and eat or chat. Just a few steps from the entrance is a little lookout area with two Adirondack chairs—perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets, with views of the city and surrounding mountains. The property is tucked away, so outdoor bike storage (or other large items) is safe, but if you prefer, we’re happy to store oversized gear in our locked garage. Other things to note Our suite is a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone—no exceptions. Just a heads-up: the suite doesn’t have a dishwasher or in-suite laundry. It does have air conditioning—it's the highest-grade unit we could fit in the space. That said, during extreme summer heat (like the Okanagan’s occasional high-30s°C heat domes), even top units can struggle to keep things cool. If the temperature spikes, we’ll do everything we can to keep you comfortable, including offering extra fans, lighter bedding, and other cooling touches. A note about pets: We share our property with two friendly young rescue dogs, who are fenced off from the guest area. To keep things peaceful for everyone (including our pups), we consider visiting pets on a case-by-case basis.
