Welcome to Our Up North Oasis! This is our family’s home a majority of the year. When we aren’t able to be here, it is our pleasure to welcome you as our guests—not renters (although we acknowledge that we aren’t giving it away for free and we truly appreciate your willingness to invest your valuable time and money here). The house and property are always cleaned and maintained by us and we are happy to share with you and your family/friends the amenities (summarized below) and other things we use, appreciate, and enjoy most during our time at home here. Two water heaters ensure that you’ll have plenty of warm water, central AC will keep you cool on the hottest days, and high-speed fiber Internet with a dedicated office space (with plug-and-play external monitor and a web cam) lets you stay connected if you can’t get away. Plenty of silverware, china, and glassware for you and your guests (sets for both indoor and outdoor use). Towels (both bath and beach); separate deck with grill; and soap, conditioner, shampoo, and sanitary items come with the rental. Advanced swimmers can enjoy swimming to the island immediately across from our dock, or feel free to take the included canoe and kayak. Want something faster? Boat rentals nearby can hook you up with everything you need to enjoy our all-sports lake chain. Ping pong table, 70-inch smart TV (with ample seating in reclining sofas), board games, darts, and a poker set and table top for rainy days. Two suites include king-sized beds with en-suite baths. Guest rooms include a queen-size bed, two bunk beds (four twin-sized beds), a comfy queen futon, and an extra full-size mattress and air mattress in case you need them (just let us know). The guest bathroom includes a bathtub, and there’s a half bath on the upper floor. Finally, unwind at the end of the day in front of the fire pit, gas fireplace, separate deck, or 8-person outdoor hot tub. Don’t see what you need? Drop us a line—chances are we’ve got it. General access to the entire home and property, save for some locked closets where the owners keep their personal belongings. Always here if you need us, but we wont bother you unless you ask. Four dedicated “spots,” plus availability for cars to park on the side of our long driveway. Close to bike and hiking trails (a one-minute walk to the end of our street), snowmobiling/ATV trails, and a short (7-minute) drive to Minocqua. FROM MAY - SEPTEMBER, THANKSGIVING WEEK, & CHRISTMAS - NEW YEARS WEEKS: A 7 NIGHT (WEEKLY) MINIMUM STAY IS REQUIRED. FROM MAY - SEPTEMBER: CHECK IN/OUT MUST FALL ON A SATURDAY.
