Here in the middle of nature, you will find stunning, whimsical architecture and forested foot paths that will lead you to magical places. Be captivated. Leave the outside world behind. Relax in the shadows of ancient caves and the cooling turquoise waters of our cenotes. Head to the beach or simply unwind by your own private plunge pool. You will never want to leave. The space This fairy tale cottage is 100% handcrafted by local artisans: beautiful stonework, wood, and other natural finishes throughout. Our community is off grid but you can expect hot water and usually regular electrical services. Our electricity is 100% generated by the sun! The cottage is open concept. On the first floor, along with one sleeping area and living room there is a kitchen with a two burner gas stove and a fridge. Tea, coffee and cold beverages will be available in your space when you arrive. Two twin beds (or one king bed) are located in the loft and share the main floor bathroom. The loft is accessed by a ladder. Our jungle neighborhood is a tranquil place. What you can expect to hear are jungle sounds throughout the day AND night: birds, crickets, frogs. Respect for nature and the tranquility of our community are of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we ask that you respect the rules of our residential complex. The entire cottage is offered along with a private plunge pool and terrace. Our community park and cenotes are a short walk away. The property is home to two beautiful cats and one occasionally overly exuberant dog. Guest access The cottage is located at the back of the property where I live. So it takes only a few steps if you have questions or need help. I am here for you! You reach the cottage via a separate entrance. A stone wall surrounds the property ensuring privacy for your stay.
