Located within the main farmhouse, Mimosa apartment is reached by a stone staircase that opens onto a private sitting area overlooking the courtyard. Mimosa offers distinctive views of the courtyard, the farm, and Castle Montecchio. For lovers of great wine and natural, organic produce, La Pievuccia is the place where you will experience the true authentic Tuscany. Surrounded by nature and nestled amongst the olive trees, you will find a picturesque and refreshing pool to relax. The space Measuring 95 m² and accommodating up to 8 people, the Mimosa is equipped with a full kitchen, standard-sized refrigerator, large dining table, classic Tuscan fireplace, personal pizza oven, and opens up to a long hallway lined by the three private bedrooms and two bathrooms, all designed in traditional Tuscan furnishings. Mimosa would be best suited for families, couples or paired travelers, or multiple single room sleepers. Your room facilities include: private bathroom, shower, personal and pool towels, natural & organic toiletries, garden or vineyard views, hairdryer, outdoor sitting area, private entrance, fabulous pool, welcome gift of one bottle of wine (red or white), free wifi, and final cleaning. We have selected for the comfort of our guests a line of natural Tuscan detergents, produced by the company Biofficina Toscana. The ingredients are natural, formulated with surfactants of only plant origin and extracts of Calendula and Fennel. Animal tests have not been used or commissioned to test or develop this line of detergents. Guest access Prices include daily organic, Tuscan breakfast, swimming pool (seasonal), use of the public kitchen, various lounge areas, quiet outdoor spaces, vineyard lounge/dining area, outdoor barbeque and pizza ovens, free wi-fi, and access to our tasting room, organic garden and various fruit trees spread across the property. You will also have access to our filtered water filling station throughout your entire stay. We encourage all guests to use this freely instead of purchasing one-time use plastic water bottles. In addition, there will be one glass refillable bottle in each room for your use during your stay. Vista Castello is a new Italian company that will carry on the La Pievuccia brand and the Tuscan tradition of regenerative organic agriculture. We sell locally and in our property’s shop; the rest is exported and distributed in local restaurants and wine shops all over the world. We practice sustainable viticulture and farming that uses eco-friendly solutions to solve many of the complex issues we face during the season. We use cover crops, endemic flower populations, farmyard manure and biodynamic compost to enrich the soils.
