Everything you need in a home base and an amazing location for exploring the best of the Cape Breton Highlands, minutes from amazing beaches, world famous hiking trails, bike rides and seafood! Two kayaks on site for your use. Schooner Cove is an ultra tiny home, it's clean, cozy and offers gorgeous harbour views located in a real Cape Breton fishing village. The space Right on the water in Dingwall Harbour! This gorgeous little tiny house offers a double bed, small table, two chairs, kitchenette and bathroom. There is a small deck with two Muskoka chairs to enjoy the water and mountain views in front of you. It is a perfect location for exploring the best of views Cabot Trail, t hiking in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the northern areas like Meat Cove. Guest access Guests have full access to the space, yard and dock. We have a classic two masted sailing schooner moored off the dock during summer and will occasionally be seen heading by down and out to sea, but otherwise the space is all your own. Other things to note This is a tiny home; you have the comforts of power, water, fast fiber op wifi, but it is a small space! The toilet is an incinerator toilet, called a Cinderella, very simple to use, just push a button and all your waste becomes a tiny pile of ash, perfect for on the water living. This is a fishing community and seasonally you'll see or hear boats coming and going for lobster, snow crab and halibut. This is also a small northern community, there are amazing local stores, but they may not have everything you are looking for, we suggest you stock up on wines and fancy cheese before coming to Northern Cape Breton.
