Bed&Bike was born from the combination of Nina and Ricardo's love for nature, outdoor sports, gastronomy and the art of hosting people. Our mission is to offer guests a memorable experience of good living in a relaxed and rustic environment. We have a total of 3 suites, independent, with entrance through our common patio. We use natural and recycled materials in our decoration, and we encourage our guests to get to know this beautiful region, through our assisted ebikes. The space Bed&Bike is one of those places that there is only one and you always want to come back. Located in Vila do Arelho, 3 km from the Óbidos Lagoon and 4.5 km from the Óbidos Wall. Here we offer a personalized service so that you can enjoy the benefits of staying with the privacy of a "small hotel", but in a warm family atmosphere. The rooms are in the external area, with independent access from the main body of the house. This listing is for the Bahia Suite, which has 2 single beds, with the option of joining them into a double bed. The bathroom has a modern and spacious shower, toilet and hygienic shower. The washbasin is just outside the bathroom, as you can see in the photos. In total there are 3 complete accommodations (bedroom and private bathroom) with thematic decoration inspired by our home country, Brazil. And so Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Bahia are represented, which name each of our rooms. Guest access The Bed & Bike is a local accommodation installed on land of approximately 670m² composed of the owners' house and the 3 suites (Rio, Sampa and Bahia) settled in the external area with total independence from the body of the house. Breakfast is included in the daily rate and is served on the terrace. This terrace, covered and sheltered (see photos), is an exclusive gourmet space for guests to use during their stay: with stove, refrigerator, oven, and all the basic utensils at their disposal. At breakfast we serve seasonal fruit, various breads, typical Portuguese cheeses, honey and jam from the region, yogurt, granola, juice, coffee, tea and milks (see photos). We also provide gastronomic experiences with regional products (diverse fish, vegetables, and local fruits) that can be served to the guests, by the hosts, upon previous request, in meals or happy hour (inspired by the chef, depending on the season). Guests can also enjoy our Rooftop, with views of the Óbidos Lagoon, Bom Sucesso Beach and the different environments of the garden, with loungers in the shade of our orange trees or relax in the swing of our hammocks. We also have a large outdoor shower that is a delight on the hottest days. Each ebike tour provides a direct contact with the region, in a more authentic and sensory way. Our ebikes are assisted, and therefore allow for a very pleasant ride without the exhaustion of normal bikes. We also have SUP boards, which our guests can reserve to enjoy the calm waters of the lagoon. To end a full day, nothing better than a Happy Hour at Ricardo's style, with original tapas that mix the local gastronomy with a touch of Brazilian cuisine. Better will be hard to come by! We also have a partnership with the Kite School, which we can organize classes according to your interest.
