The Enchanted Forest Cottage

The Enchanted Forest Cottage is a tiny house tucked away in a private, coastal forest with towering trees, beautiful rhododendrons, and wild huckleberry bushes. The stunning beauty of this handcrafted cottage and the amazing surroundings make for an INCREDIBLE glamorized camping (GLAMPING) experience you will never forget! Large panoramic windows, your own private deck and lazy forest trails, allow for a full and comfortable immersion into your own personal one-acre forest. The space This recently built 12ft x 16ft tiny house was made with love. It has a main living space (studio fashion), with a queen size bed and a double size futon in the loft space. The wood floors are clean and everything is maintained daily. The interior has a groovy boho vibe and at night you can illuminate the forest around you with dazzling, soft lights. Amazing! In Winter, two heaters keep it cozy. The ocean is less than a mile away and when the surf is up, you can hear the waves crashing from the comfort of your cozy bed. Your private, outdoor shower and indoor restroom (toilet and sink) are detached from the tiny cottage and is a pleasurable 100-foot stroll up the beautiful north trail to a private area outside of the main house. Both have running hot and cold water and are decorated with coastal flair. Note: there are four steps up (with handrail) to the private restroom area. Mirrors are in both the cottage and bathroom. There is an outlet for a blow dryer in the bathroom. Pack some sandals or flip-flops for the outdoor shower. Our water is from a pure, deep aquifer and is the BEST TASTING on the Oregon Coast and is available at the tiny cottage. There is no kitchen, but a coffee maker and mini fridge are available. The town of Port Orford is a quick 5-minute drive and there is plenty of ready made food for you to bring back. Wi-Fi is not available, but there is cell phone reception and a large flat screen TV with a DVD player, so bring your favorite movies. This is your time to unplug and relax! Guest access You have your own personal parking space and signs will direct you down into the forest. In winter, we have two heaters that keep the cottage cozy. Recommend wearing boots and bringing a bathrobe and slippers to walk to the shower. The main house is at the top of the property and is far enough away from the tiny cottage, so that your privacy is respected. There is a keyless entry to the tiny cottage and if you did not get the code, you can always call Bob or one of the hosts who are on duty. Access to the entire tiny cottage, deck attached to the tiny cottage and the forest is yours for your entire visit. You can freely walk the trails on this 1.5 acre forested lot. There are boundary markers to guide you. Coming in late at night? No worries, trail lights at the parking area will guide you down to the tiny house and all the lights will be lit up. The tiny house comes alive at night. Other things to note Quiet-seeking, forest-loving, easy-going people ONLY! No additional guests, loud noises, music, or parties. No smoking, fires, candles, etc. Fire season is always here and only you can prevent forest fires. Please drive slowly on the dirt road coming to and from the property. There are a wide variety of frogs, salamanders, native bees, moles, and the world-famous Port Orford Cedar tree species on this property. Animal waste is not good. Therefore no pets are allowed, including Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals, as they are deemed a health threat to the biology of the property. Thank you for understanding.
