The space This campervan is perfect for a couple 💑 and can accommodate up to 3 people. Some experience driving manual cars is recommended. Guest access For families with young children. We have a baby seat and a booster seat. Other things to note -- KILOMETERS-- You have 150 kilometers / day included You can increase to 200 kms/day for an extra cost of 10€/day payable at checkin. Those vans are made for short trips nearby Barcelona to discover the beautiful region of Cataluña. Most guests go to : Costa Brava, Delta Del Ebro, Priorat or Garrotxa. -- INSURANCE -- We provide our own insurance specific for car rentals. By default, you have the basic insurance with a security deposit of 900€. You can choose more inclusive insurances that we can detail you further. The insurance by default allows having one driver. If you want a second driver, you can take our insurance option PROTECT (15€/day) -- CHECKIN PROCESS -- Checkin takes 40 minutes, in order to explain you how the vehicle works and do a quick test drive. -- CHECKIN HOURS -- Monday to Sunday : Anytime depending on my availability. The idea is to arrange a time that works for both :) -- CHECKOUT HOURS -- Monday to Friday : From 8PM until 06.30AM Saturday Sunday : Anytime If you absolutely need a checkout during the day weekday, It is feasible but has an extra cost of 30€. It is because of a driving restriction rule : -- VISITING BARCELONA -- Due to the Barcelona carbon emission law "ZBE", old vehicles can not circulate in Barcelona between 07AM and 8PM Monday to Friday. You can drive : - Weekends - Bank holidays - The day of checkin (we will take a special permit for it if the checkin is at our place) As a nice bonus, you can park for free in our private parking space. -- PARKING YOUR CAR -- If you arrive by car, you’re welcome to leave it for free in our private parking space for the entire duration of your stay. -- SLEEPING IN BARCELONA -- It is possible! You can not stay in our garage or park the van in Barcelona streets for the night, unfortunately. Too risky. However, we can provide you with 4 options : Option 1 In Barcelona. There are 2 car parks that accept you sleeping in your van respectively for 20€ and 45€ and in Barcelona. It is a car park to set expectations right . Nearby Barcelona. 3 options : - A free parking place - A campsite (40€) - A private land where to park the van (30€) All three have public transport that will get you in Barcelona in 30 minutes. -- AIRPORT DELIVERY -- We do checkin and/or checkout at the airport of Barcelona or Girona for an extra fee of 90€/110€ -- OTHERS -- Being a 1978 vehicle, It is made for cruising with a top speed of 85km/h. The fuel consumption is around 10L/100kms (unleaded fuel 95). A few more perks being : no assisted steering system and not suitable for people under 160cms (because you can not adjust the seats that much) but you will be able to travel in time and enjoy the scenery. -- WHERE TO GO? -- On top of the rental, we can give you tips and advices on where to stay, camping sites and places to visit so that you can plan your journey ahead. We have some pre-made routes. -- THE WHOLE CONCEPT -- The idea of Advantura is to buy old vehicles and restore them every year a bit more, not just to be in descent condition for my own driving but to be in great condition for everybody to enjoy.
