Other things to note This 1961 A-frame Lakehouse has been thoughtfully restored while preserving much of its original character and cottage charm. As part of its design, you’ll notice some intentionally rustic and imperfect finishes that reflect the home’s history rather than modern, polished construction. All major building systems, including the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC have been completed to code. If you’re looking for a luxury home with perfectly uniform finishes throughout, this unique cottage may not be the best fit, but if you appreciate authentic character and craftsmanship, we think you’ll enjoy our home away from home This property is on a septic system -- please do not flush anything other than 1-ply toilet paper to avoid any major issues during your stay! Please note that while our contracted service takes care of plowing the driveway during the winter, guests are responsible for shoveling the front and back deck if they wish to use those areas. We do not have a microwave or conventional oven. But we do have a Breville convection toaster oven. Our kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker and a Nespresso Pixie coffee machine. Please note, we do not provide ground coffee or coffee pods. If you'd like to use the Nespresso machine, kindly bring the Nespresso "Original" pods (not Vertuo pods). There are floating stairs to the second floor (i.e. gaps between steps) that may be a concern for some parents. Please see the listing photos to see this to ensure it fits your needs LINENS POLICY: We ask guests to bring their own bedding and bath linens (sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and towels). We provide pillows and comforters but please bring your own bedding. We will be onsite for outdoor property maintenance. This includes snow clearing and general grounds keeping. By booking this home you accept the terms and waive the host and co-host for any liability. We take no responsibility for any slip and fall incidents at the property. We have arranged for snow removal. However, we take no responsibility if snow is not removed on time or there is a fall and slip instance at the property. Please also note that we do not take any responsibility for any damage to your car and any belongings at the property caused due to any reason.
