Welcome to our private campsite in Utopia, ON. Our family’s glamping dome is your chance to experience a unique getaway surrounded by the sights & sounds of nature. Amenities include camping essentials & some glamping perks: king size bed, bbq, fireplace, Indoor incineration toilet, soap & water, outdoor shower (summer only), kettle, cooking utensils. Nearby is Purple Hill Lavender Farms, Drysdale's Tree Farm, Tiffin Conservation Area, Nottawasaga & golf courses. Wasaga Beach is 30 min away. The space Our family's 35 acres of woods are home to a variety of deciduous and coniferous trees, shrubs, wildlife, wild flowers and berry bushes. The campsite has been prepared to offer parking and amenities so you can relax and enjoy your time in the outdoors. Indoors, our dome offers 315sqft. of space for sleeping, eating, and relaxing. Often rentals are just with couples, but you are welcome to bring your child to sleep in the king bed with you, or you can bring a small (1 person) blowup mattress / travel crib to setup beside the bed. Our propane BBQ is ready to be used for cooking your food and heating water in the kettle for doing dishes. Our outdoor shower offers a space with hot water to freshen up. Refrigeration is not available, so be sure to pack a cooler. Water jugs for cleaning are provided. Drinking water is not provided. A power bank system is available for running lights, fans, and to charge your devices. Glamping amenities include: plates, glassware, cutlery, knives, cutting boards, kettles (fire heated and electric), french press, dish cloths, dish soap, a variety of cooking utensils, pots and pans. An eco-friendly washroom is provided with a vanity that provides water for teeth brushing and washing up, and a waterless incineration toilet to protect the environment from blackwater septic and harmful chemicals. Guest access Hiking trails are available throughout the property to explore and we will give you an orientation of the land so that you're all set should you choose to venture out. Other things to note The trail leading back to our campsite is located approximately 300 metres from the main road; a few minute drive at 15km/h on a path wide enough for most crossovers, SUVs and pickup trucks to navigate. Access in the winter months may be on foot when snow has accumulated. We will coordinate your check-in to meet you at the driveway and bring you back to the site to ensure that you are all set and have any questions answered. While you are surrounded by woods, the site is still close to Simcoe Road 56 and nearby attractions. Most phones have at least 1 or 2 bars of LTE coverage at the site.
