A stylish light and airy 2 bed, 2 bath top floor apartment with balcony in historic Royal William Yard. Located right on the waterfront, there are superb views from every window. Included is a dedicated free parking space next to the building. The space This stunning waterside apartment is more than 120 sq m (1300sq ft) in size with vaulted ceilings and lovely views over the water to Mt Edgcumbe, Cornwall. There are west facing water views from every window and from the balcony. We have our own dedicated parking space close to the entrance to the building which is provided free of charge. The apartment is suitable for children over the age of 5 on request. The apartment, Admiral's View, has has been a popular holiday home with repeat guests for many years and has been recently renovated and improved. The apartment is all on one level and sleeps up to 4 people with 2 bedrooms. WIFI throughout the apartment is included. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom, and the second bedroom has twin single beds. There are 2 modern full bathrooms (bath with shower over), one of these is an ensuite to the master bedroom. The living room area is light and spacious with push back reclining seating for 6, and is very airy with vaulted ceilings with roof windows in addition to the balcony and living room windows. There is an open plan (screened) modern kitchen, dining area (with table seating 6), and an office/snug area. The kitchen area has all mod cons including dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge and freezer, microwave and bread making machine. There is a separate utility room which houses the washer, dryer, iron/board and drying rack. The apartment is within a historic grade 1 listed building and has several original, thick exposed stone walls to the inside and original oak flooring, with modern fixtures and fittings and limestone tiled floors to the kitchen and bathrooms. Some of the original features still exist from when the building was used by The Royal Navy in the 19th Century. The views are exceptional from every window, great for boat watching - including seeing the odd Royal Navy vessel that passes close by. We are located close to the water's edge in a peaceful part of Royal William Yard which makes it great for couples or families who wish to have a relaxing time in a lovely setting. Admiral's View is located on the top floor (second floor) of The Clarence building in Royal William Yard and is accessed via 2 flights of stairs - there is no lift so we regret that our apartment may not be suitable for people with mobility problems or for young children. The apartment is however suitable for children over the age of 5 (on request). There is security firm that looks after the Clarence building and excessive noise between 22.00 and 8.00 is not tolerated, so no parties, groups of youngsters or loud music please for this reason. Guest access The rental is the whole self contained apartment set in the Clarence building of Royal William Yard, on the top (second floor). It is necessary to climb 2 flights of stairs to access the apartment. Other things to note There is no lift so although the apartment is on one level, access to the apartment is via 2 flights of stairs. Although Airbnb has inexplicably highlighted that we are a golfing destination- this isn’t really the case although there are a couple of small golf courses a few miles away - sorry :)
