Gable End Cottage is a great choice for families and friends seeking a homely base to explore the wonderful countryside and all that North Yorkshire has to offer. The space With two bedrooms - one double and one twin, this pet and child friendly cottage is the ideal place to base yourself to take in the sights and sounds of everything that North Yorkshire has to offer. Ideal for holiday makers, families, walkers, cyclists or those who just want a short break. Gable End cottage is adjoined to our family home, we want to be able to share our lovely cottage and love of Yorkshire and the outdoors with the wider world. The cottage has been recently refurbished and individually furnished to include comfortable beds with soft linen, new décor throughout, a power shower, a well-equipped kitchen and a quaint, cozy ambience. We are delighted to offer our guests: • A child and dog-friendly pub and local café, both just a five minute walk from Gable End. • Field/play area adjacent to property • Craft sessions and treatment centre within close vicinity to property • Fully enclosed dog and child friendly garden • Hot tub • Two bedrooms - one double and one twin. Child-friendly additions like cot bed, bed guards, highchair etc. are all available on request • Open plan modern kitchen-living with comfortable seating and country twist • Fully furnished kitchen with oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine • Freeview TV for those cosy evenings in the lounge • No smoking to keep the cottage fresh and clean • Wi-Fi • Dogs and children welcome • Ample off-road private parking for two vehicles Just a short drive to many of Yorkshire's attractions including Mother Shiptons Cave, Fountains Abbey, Harlow Carr Gardens, Harewood House (there are so many amazing recommendations for all needs/tastes and we're happy to help wherever needed) Ideal for walking, site seeing, cycling or just a general break from the hustle and bustle of real life! Nestled in the "Golden Triangle" and close to local towns/cities - York, Ripon, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Leeds. Please note that the hot tub is covered in the permanent fixed pergola as pictured and not the gazebo which unfortunately became dangerous as blew away on more than one occasion in high winds. Lights to be fitted soon which will replace the dusk pictures featured. Thank you Guest access You will have full access of the cottage, the property has a key safe so you will have a contactless check-in and check out. There is also a private drive with ample parking for four vehicles. We are only next door though so if you need us for anything then just give us a knock! Although check-in is listed at 5pm we are nearly always ready sooner so if we can get you in earlier we will :-) Other things to note We can recommend a dog walker for your waggy tailed friend but do let us know in advance as they book up fast - we have known the owner for years and she regularly walks our three dogs. There is also a dog grooming studio just down the road who we highly recommend if you want your pooch to have a holiday pamper. Again, let us know in advance as they are also incredibly popular.
