Simple and beautiful - the Auvergne is worth it!

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. Here you’ll find animals living freely, such as our two nice pigs, four woolly sheep, chickens, ducks and rabbits. Our four cats – Panthera, Schneepard, Marmor and Chaudchat – would love for you to come and stroke them! :) The space We are delighted that you have found us! :) You will stay in our 25 m² cottage, which was formerly used as a bakery. We have renovated it with a lot of passion and heart and soul and hope very much that you will like it here with us! We have combined furniture from the 60s and 70s with modern elements. It was important to us that the furnishings remain minimalist and yet everything important is present. In addition, your cottage is heated with two electric radiators. On the walls, you will find paintings created by us that emphasise the colours and shapes of the grassy hills of Auvergne. The shower and the kitchen (warm water) are in the small house. To use the toilet, please visit the covered bio-toilet (not heated) in the garden. There you will also find a outdoor shower, which brings a lot of joy in the summer. Our farm animals roam freely in the garden, each with their own character – and they will want to become friends with you. There are many beautiful things to discover – in warm sunshine and low-lying fog. When the leaves sprout bright green or fall to the ground golden yellow. You will hear sounds that are sometimes suppressed or silenced in a big city. There are enduring things to observe that will not yield to the immense speed of our times. Perhaps you feel like taking a rest? Or you would like to go hiking? Or would you like to watch our pigs lazing around? If you enjoy a rustic and down-to-earth atmosphere, you are in the right place! :) Come and visit us. We look forward to meeting you! Other things to note It is especially important to us that you have a wonderful time and can enjoy the peace and quietness of the area. We are happy to take care of your needs, but we also give you space and privacy so that you can spend relaxing days with us. Please note that our holiday home is designed and equipped to accommodate a maximum of two adult guests. Thank you.
