This cosy, 4 bed "home from home", close to Geneva and the Alps is ideal for families (with your beloved pets) and groups in all seasons. Ski, swim, hike, or cycle, then watch the sun setting over Annecy with an "appero" and on those balmy summer evenings, fire up the BBQ & dine "al fresco" on the rear terrace. These may lead to the imposition of restrictions on mouvements and gatherings. Please ensure that the latest recommendations for the date of your stay are reflected in your booking (6 adults maximum from different households). Children up to 12 years are not part of the recommended limit, so can be added to the guest numbers (up to 10 guests in total). Please note that the house is "deep" cleaned between stays, in accordance with Airbnb's standards for hygiene and the protection of our guests. Property Description: This character house extends over three floors and offers 4 star comfort for 8-10 guests. The living/dining room is bathed in sunlight throughout the day and has captivating mountain views. It leads to a south facing front terrace and fully equipped kitchen, with gas hob, oven, microwave/combination oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and generous supply of cookware and utensils. Upstairs there are two spacious triple bedrooms, the first with a King sized double and a single bed, three large wardrobes and stunning alpine views to wake up to. A travel cot and infant mattress are also provided, making this a perfect family room. The second triple has a double and single bed, attractive hand-painted furniture and a pretty outlook over the garden. The family bathroom is on this floor with a corner bath, shower cubicle and separate WC. There is a further double bedroom on the ground floor, also with a garden view. It has extra long twin beds that zip and link to form a Super King (180cm) sized double, if preferred. The second WC is opposite, ideal for families traveling with older relatives who don't want to use the stairs as often. Beds are of the highest specification, with new, high quality mattresses and made up on arrival with crisp fresh linen, guaranteeing you a supremely comfortable night's sleep. The additional flexibility of the tastefully renovated basement studio makes this house practical for two families or 4 couples to share, as it has a comfortable double futon, shower room, fully equipped laundry and masses of cupboard space. If you are travelling as 5 couples, not needing family bedrooms, there is the option of a double sofa bed in the living room. Outside there is a dining table seating 10, barbecue and plenty of deck chairs for lazing in your favourite sunny or shady spot. Parking is no problem, with space for two cars in the private stone courtyard and further free parking 100m away. Guest access Guests will have the whole house and garden to themselves, but our French speaking housekeeper lives locally and can help with anything you need, including babysitting (charged separately). Other things to note The minimum stay at La Maison de Proméry is 2 nights at weekends, 3 during the week and for public holidays and 7 during high season. We may have gaps of a few days between high season bookings, which could fit with your plans, so do check our calendar to see when a shorter stay may be possible. Please check our house rules if you would like to bring your pets. We are a pet friendly home and our guests can easily close off access from the rear to the front garden to keep pets and young children safe. However, we do not automatically authorize all pets, so please provide details in your booking enquiry. We do not accept cats due to allergies that may affect future guests, but if you would like to bring a well behaved dog, just send us a message and we'll be happy to consider your request.
