Mugumo Cottage Thika - 3 bedroom outside NRB

Our lovely lake side cottage is a perfect spot for a family holiday or a group of friends wanting to escape the city. It is set on private land and has direct access to the lake edge. You can walk around and enjoy the lake breeze and there are some beautiful picnic spots across the property. We have an outdoor BBQ area and a fully equipped kitchen. We are located 40km outside Nairobi and only 3km off the Thika-Super Highway. The space Mugumo Cottage is a beautiful 3 bedroom cottage, with 2 double rooms and 1 twin room. All 3 rooms are en-suite and there is an additional toilet in the cloakroom. The property includes a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ grill for all your meal requirements. We have a chef available upon request and meals can be pre-planned with her. There is a supermarket about 5km from the property - details can be shared with you upon booking. We also have a masseuse available to come to the property - this would require a day's notice. Activities that can be done on the property include: Bird watching Hiking Long walks Picnics There are 2 golf courses nearby - Thika Sports Club and Thika Greens, both 10 minute drives from the property There is the option of driving into Thika town: A few sites to visit in Thika: Blue Post Hotel to see the waterfalls and have a coffee Thika Gymkhana, Thika Sports Club and Thika Greens Golf Club all offer nice bars and hangout spots to get a quick meal and drink There are hospitals nearby - Naidu Hospital would be a 10 minute drive from the property incase of any medical emergencies
