At this time the garage is not available for guest use and we ask that guests only use the basement for laundry or bathroom use. One of our favorite things about the location of our home is being just down the road from the neighborhood market, where we can run and pick up last minute additions to dinner. Also we love spending time in Edison park, just 2 blocks away, wandering among the huge mature Oak trees and around the pond. Dearborn's vibrant restaurant district is just a mile away with many excellent options. The Henry Ford, including Greenfield Village, The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, and The Ford Rouge Factory are just minutes away. 15 minute drive to DTW Airport. 15 minutes the other direction puts you into the heart of Detroit if you are coming for sporting events, theater performances, or conventions. Many great outdoor opportunities on lakes, rivers, and parks can be found nearby. Don't forget to visit the Henry Ford Estate lake and forests. Car travel is the most common here. We are 1.5 miles from the Dearborn Amtrak station. Buses also run in the area. Biking and walking are always options too. Also Uber or Lyft is very available. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and we expect our guests to enjoy and be respectful of our neighbors. We have driveway parking available for 2 vehicles and street parking. Monday is garbage day, so no parking on the street on Mondays.
