Nestled between 2 lakes in the picturesque Berkshire Mountains We invite you to come enjoy the space of our big, beautiful home with your family and friends in our unique custom built house featuring 8 bedrooms, 2 full kitchens and 3 bathrooms in over 4000 sq. ft of indoor living space and great outdoor relaxing space. It is nestled in the heart of the Berkshire Mountains and situated between 2 beautiful lakes with incredible views. One lake (Onota) is just a short walk down the street where you can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, picnicking and more. The second lake (Pontoosuc) is just a short 5 minute drive. This lake also boasts beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and aside from boat and jet ski rentals, this area also has amenities such as restaurants and golfing. Our home provides sleeping accommodations for up to 25, with 8 bedrooms and 2 pull out sofa beds. Great entertaining space inside and out. Nicely furnished and tastefully decorated large themed rooms with updated linens. Kids love the captains bedroom with a double bed that sleeps 2. Two kitchens with granite counters and SS appliances, one in the great room, which also has a separate entrance, 2 bedrooms, bath, laundry room, big screen smart TV and pool table. This area can close off for separation or opens up to the main house to provide the space for everyone to gather and be together. It's easy to game or catch up on work with our high speed reliable wifi and separate work spaces Peaceful private fully fenced in back yard with comfortable outdoor furniture (seasonal), Fire pit patio area, covered gas grilling area and play-yard for the kids. We have included beach chairs for you to bring to the lake. Only minutes from golf, boating, hiking, shopping, fine dining, Hancock Shaker Village, The Colonial Theatre and Pittsfield's own baseball park and team. Also just minutes from Theater, Arts, Museums, and ski resorts. Jiminy Peak Ski Resort also has summer fun with alpine slides, rock climbing, swing shot and more and Bosquet boast a summer water park. A 20 minute drive will get you to Tanglewood and The Norman Rockwell Museum. Approximately 2.5 hours from NYC or Boston. Our location is unique in that we are very close to all different types of activities that fit anyone's interest in any season of the year. With the breathtaking mountains and beautiful foliage you will have a great time just relaxing and enjoying the views of the area and be only 2 minutes from RT 7, which is the main road to get to most destinations in the area. This great home is also less than 5 minutes from the hospital. The season changes are amazing in the Berkshire Mountains. The fall shows off our beautiful mountains in spectacular colors and all the charming country farms are bustling with hay rides, apple picking and pumpkin fests. Winter provides an abundance of snow and we are minutes from some of the best ski resorts and a walk away from ice fishing on the lake. Spring jumps alive with the new and upcoming season of the summer events and the summer provides so many different things to do you won't know where to begin. You have full access to the whole 4000 sq ft house, inside and out. There is an attached guest suite area which can be closed off for separation if needed. It can be a fully contained area with sleeping arrangements for 6, a bathroom and second kitchen in the house. Typically our guests leave this area, which has a glass pained door, open to the main house. It gives everyone in the group space to gather and be together. This house can only be occupied by guests that have obtained reservations and per one group only. Everything you will need for your stay is provided in the home. As owners of the house, although we do not occupy it with you, you will be able to contact us any time should you need help with anything. This house is nestled in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains in a small quiet suburban neighborhood 2 night minimum requirement, 3 nights for holidays, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas, which are 4/5 night minimums. The summer season (June-August) has a 1 week minimum reservation.
