Peace, tranquility & memories are here for you. Backing onto the national forest & being in the far corner of the park you have the world to yourself. Enjoy a coffee on the spacious deck, overlooking a vast forest, filled with vibrant birdsong. Relax streaming your favorite programs, play retro games or explore the park. Kids can read a book, play with toys & Thomas. The dog even has his place. In the evening cook up a feast with a kitchen that has everything, just bring the food and wine. The space This 3 bedroom cabin is 1528 sq ft and in 0.36 acres of forest. It is great for family and people who work remotely. We also allow small dogs, if you have a larger one reach out. - Deck has table, 8 chairs, BBQ grill. Lights just activated so you can light up the deck at night. -Bedroom 1 one queen size bed, one tri-fold bed chair, desk and chairs, smart TV (can be use for the 2nd monitor for your PC) A charging port station on the desk. - Bedroom 2 two full size beds, desk universal cable attached and chairs, monitor that can be used for a second screen for your PC and smart TV. Charging port station on each side of night stands. The roof is sloped adding to that cabin feel. - Bedroom 3 three twin size bed with one trundle bed (total of 5 beds), book shelves, books, soft toys and Thomas train set. A charging port station on the side table. The roof is sloped adding to that cabin feel. -Downstairs bath has bath / shower combo, sink and toilet. Fully stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. -Upstairs half bath has toilet and sink. -Kitchen - gas stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, condiments, coffee, tea with plenty of pots, pans, plates and all that good stuff. No need to go out we got it all for you, even bake a cake. -Mudroom - washer and dryer, dog bowls and "light up" dog collars for the night time walk. There is a electric piano, 8000+ classic arcade game machine (not a cabinet style). go back in time and play those classics or play PS2, N64 or others of that circa96-2000, classic board games, Wifi and Smart TV in the living / kitchen area. Sit back and recline on the sofa and watch a good movie (200 DVD for the kids upstairs). There are also a number of smart light switches throughout the cabin so we can make sure the lights are on when you arrive. Note: The TVs are smart TVs, they have all the usual apps but you will need to bring your own subscription. Please remember to remove any username / passwords when you leave. Also a Roku streaming device . Note: Upon booking we'll send you a link to our youtube site that contains lots of helpful videos (20+ vids, 6 shorts) on how to use the smart switches, turn things on and off, use the door lock, how to enter via the gate etc and all the crockery/pots/pans so you know what to bring. We want your stay to be easy and you to enjoy your time away the best you can. Note: Storage space for clothes is limited (we do have suite case racks) and one closet is locked containing hosts personal belongings. You're in a cabin with sloped roof bedrooms, furniture options are limited, but thats all part of the experience. Guest access All areas that are not locked. Please do not attempt to enter anything that is locked including master closet and bathroom closet. Other things to note There is a gas BBQ on the deck area. We try to keep propane in the barbecue for your convenience, but it is not guaranteed. If you will be using the BBQ, we recommend you bring a propane tank for back up. We have unlimited Wifi, watch those HD movies on any of the 3 smart TVs . Parking: There is ample parking off street for 4 large trucks directly in front of the cabin . If it has just snowed 4x4 & chains are needed to get into the park area (just depends when they had the plow out as we live on private roads), some parts, including Wheeler can be slippery. Our drive is steep please keep this in mind, crampons are useful due to slippery surface in the mornings. We have stairs you need to go up to enter the front door and stairs to reach 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The rear door has no stairs but the ground underfoot is loose at times and steep. The approach from the drive to the stairs can also be steep. Sorry we only accept dogs, not cats or other pets as people have allergies. There is no AC, but we have 3 window fans to help with air circulation. The elevation and tree coverage also provides a cool summer. Safety -------- ATT service works great here, TMO is possible but there is no VZ cellphone service. During bad weather services can go out, we recommend GMRS radios as a backup. Please bookmark PGE outages, PGE PSPS and Calfire and check the weather to keep up to date on issues that could affect your safety. Read "Tuolumne county California" website regarding current fire dangers, what is, and what is not, permitted Fire extinguishers, fire blankets, smoke detectors, a first aid kit, lamps and flash lights are all provided for your safety.
