You will enter through a tool/workspace of the homeowners with keypad entry into a clean, laundry area where you can leave your shoes in a temp controlled space. The entertainment area is filed with board games, a dart board, and a large sectional sofa for lounging and binge watching TV. Our TV offerings include streaming subscriptions over WiFi, there is also a DVD player attached for use if you go to the local Redbox! The bedroom has a comfortable queen bedroom set for use throughout your stay. ***Storage hanger not enclosed closet*** This space is not fully equipped with a kitchen but does offer a convenience space with a large mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. Enjoy take out or simple meals at the modern dining table that seats four. Dinnerware, silverware and drinkware are provided. The cozy bathroom has a spacious full size standing shower stocked with plenty of towels. Outdoors there is a large yard behind the private entrance where you can relax or sit in the sun. There is a trail to the left of the backyard which connects to the Appalachian and other nearby attractions. Guests will have private and exclusive access to everything described in the listing. The main house is occupied but entry to your private access will not be requested unless it is an emergent situation. On the side of the property, where the keypad entry is, is access to the backyard space for views of the mountain and access to the trail through the backyard. Unfortunately, physical disability access is limited, please reach out with any inquiries. We live in the upstairs/main level of this house with our cats, so we are available if you need us or just want some tips on enjoying the area. The neighborhood we live in has many long-time neighbors, many who work from home. The population of Bolivar is 1,272 as of 2020. We are in the Panhandle of West Virginia, surrounded by Harpers Ferry and many attractions. Distances for reference: 7-Eleven convenience store - 0.3 miles Walmart - 5.1 miles Bolivar Heights - 0.8 miles Historic Harpers Ferry - 1.3 miles MARC Train Station (Brunswick) - 8.3 miles AMTRAK Train Station (Martinsburg) - 20.3 miles Enjoy Historic Harpers Ferry, hiking and biking trails, nearby access to the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers, restaurants, and the Appalachian Trail, and the Bolivar Battlefields are less than 1 mile up the road. Short drive to the casino, horse racing, rafting, tubing, kayaking, zip lining, wineries, breweries, distilleries, or the Amtrak/MARC train station. We offer 1 parking space for guests. This property is located directly below the main house. It has a private entrance on the side of the house. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store down the street .3 miles. This space is not physical-disability friendly and does require entering the space downhill from the main house. Absolutely no parties or large gatherings. Please be mindful and courteous of the neighbors who live here full time.
