Sea View Apartment on Tahunanui Hills

Perched high on the Tahunanui Hills, offering stunning views of the mountains and the sea, this entirely self contained apartment is both modern and homely making it a perfect spot for couples, friends or families to enjoy a getaway in beautiful Nelson. The beach is a few minutes drive, or a 15 minute walk. The airport and town centre are a 5-10 minute drive. The space The space is located on the ground floor of our two-story house, which has recently been renovated and carefully decorated to create a stylish and comfortable apartment. As you enter through the French sliding doors, you will find a sunny open plan living, dining and kitchen area, which have been furnished with a dining table and seating. The kitchen has been fully equipped, and has all necessities to make meal prep and cooking easy. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed with fresh clean linen and towels. A large wardrobe has been fitted into each room, which you will find handy if you are planning a slightly longer stay. The bathroom is not spacious, but it is modern! Enjoy a coffee and take in the views of the mountains and sea from the sofa in the living room, or from a bean bag on the lawn. If you're a bookworm, take your pick from the selection of books on the bookshelf, or perhaps a board game/card game with your travel companions for something more social! Please note we have a strict no smoking policy for this property. Guest access Check-in is easy with a lockbox facility. You can arrive anytime from 3pm onwards. We are available to be contacted should you have have any questions or issues. We respect your privacy and will leave you to enjoy the trip you have planned for yourself. However, if you indicate to us that you would like some interaction, we would welcome a chat and perhaps give you some pointers on what to do in the Nelson area. We both grew up here, and would be delighted to share some of our local knowledge, such as best walks, bike rides and of course, favourite restaurants and cafés. Please note, the internal staircase leads up to our section of the house and is not included in the space. The driveway is shared with one other house, which is below ours. The carpark is right outside the apartment. Please avoid driving on the lawn when parking. As this can be a tricky spot to park, parking on the road right outside the house is also an easy and perfectly safe spot to park (we also do this sometimes). Other things to note Your apartment is on the ground floor of our two-story house and we live in the upstairs area with our two children, aged four and two. We do our best to keep noise levels to a minimum, but with little ones this can be tricky at times. We often go out during the day, and the children go to bed early which ensures peaceful periods throughout the day and evening. The third bed is a fold out single sofa in the Living Room. Linen can be provided upon request. Please note that the total number of guests should not exceed 4 people. A porta cot can be arranged upon request.
