Truce House is designed with intention and creativity. There’s a comfortable lounge area for watching movies. The House sits on one acre of land offering various outdoor experiences; brick patio for dining with a Blackstone Grill, a hammock for napping and watching the sunset. We’ve thought of the details so you don’t have to. The space The House and property are well manicured and very clean. Down comforters on the bed, extra pillows add luxury to your stay. We bring great attention to detail and strive to create a welcome place to walk into. Truce Road Guest House offers an intimate space for a solo trip or gathering a few friends. Perhaps you have a project that needs time and space to evolve or a few days away from your usual routines. There’s a full kitchen. Coffee and tea is provided. We are close by if there’s anything you need to make you feel at home. Born and raised here in Lancaster County and being part of a huge family, there are many connections to Lancaster County. The property location is approximately 20 minutes from Downtown Lancaster City and from the Village of Intercourse, a popular tourist destination. Tanger Outlets, Sight and Sound, the quaint town of Strasburg are all within 20 minutes. There are nature preserves and walking trails within minutes of Truce Road. Mecks Produce is a three minute drive and provides ready made meals and fresh fruit to bring back to the patio or picnic in the private lawn. Enjoy! A third bedroom with a twin bed is on the lower level and requires going down stairs.
