Coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, grocery stores and larger shopping centres all within walking distant Directly across the road is a lovely park on the riverfront for entertaining the children, or a picnic. There is also covered BBQ facilities with dining facilities. A public swimming pool nearby. Maroochydore theatres and Swimming Beaches are also only a short walk. The volunteers you will be happy to assist plan your days exploring the Sunshine Coast with its pristine beaches, national Parks, walking/cycling trails, sporting facilities including skate parks, bird watching and photography groups, gourmet Restaurants & Coffee shops located up in the Hinterland or down on the coastline. For the more adventurous, try a surfing lessons, Jet boat or jet ski ride, tandem skydiving, tree top challenge at the big Pineapple or slower pace ride in the water duck.
