Private Hoback River Cabin en Route to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone

Description

Dog-friendly studio cabin within Hoback Village, a Stargazer Cabin Community in true Dark Sky Territory. Off HWY 189/191, 40min/30 miles S of Jackson; Grand Teton 1 hr; Yellowstone 1.5 hr. Short walk from the parking lot to the cabin. Features a queen bed and twin bunks in small room off studio. Simple kitchenette, WiFi, smart tv, fire pit, picnic area, hummingbirds, s'mores, river access, stargazing, and use of the shared kitchen and laundry ...a scenic drive and peaceful reprieve from Jackson The space LOCATION: Tranquil River Cabin #8 is located towards the back of our property. We are off the main road into Jackson but this cabin offers privacy with easy accessibility to Jackson Hole (30 miles), Grand Tetons National Park and Yellowstone (we are 37 miles from the entrance of the grand Tetons national park). This cabin is one of five in our little community called “hoback village”. We are dog friendly and our dogs are often visiting friends! BEDROOM #1 : this is a small studio space with a TV and a small kitchenette with an microwave, fridge, toaster, electric kettle and coffee. The bed has a comfortable Queen ‘Avocado’ mattress and is attached to the second space which is separated by a open doorway. Room 2: has a twin sized bunk bed off the studio room. It’s an open doorway with a curtain for speration. This is best for kiddos comfort wise but adults are welcome to bunk up! The bathroom is off of this room with a shower. There is outdoor eating area and porch with no indoor dining. The cabin comes with all essentials: all the beds will be made with linens and towels and we provide shampoo/conditioner/body wash. We have dishware and silverware (other items available upon request). HEATING/COOLING: we have a plug in oil heater that keeps it toasty in the cooler days. These take a couple hours to warm up so please plan ahead if the temperature drops. We can have them turned on low if it is cold and it warms the entire space very well. We have a secondary propane wall option as well for heat but rarely use the cabin. COOLING: There is a Fan. There is NO air conditioning as much of WY cabins do not. If your planning on sticking around hanging inside the cabin all day, instead of exploring the area during the afternoons during the summer - we have a mobile AC unit that may make that more comfortable during the summer. But the SUMMER can get warm with the door open all day. There’s a window and fan in the back room for airflow, especially nice at night. KIDS: Pack and play available - upon request so we can have the sheets in there for you. PETS: Our space is dog friendly and we ask that if the pup sleeps on the bed we provide you with a dog friendly top blanket and that you keep shoes outside since it is a natural landscape and mud loves to come in. We have our dog, Fern, who helps us run the place :) She sometimes roams and is very friendly. Please let us know if this is an issue for you and we will be happy to accommodate. Please let us know if you want to bring a cat.🐈 PARKING: Parking lot ADDT'L ACCOMMODATIONS: Additional cabins may be available on-site with a separate nightly rate. If you would like to reserve more rentals, please inquire for more information prior to booking GUEST ACCESS: Guests will have access to the unit via self check-in or we are happy to try our best to welcome you and show you around You have access to the Community Camp kitchen with an induction stove top and larger air fryer, pots pans/coffee/nutri bullet/glassware etc. Grills are also available outside the space. PROPERTY: it’s a short walk to the cabin , if mobility is an issue, another unit might suit you best. It’s also a short walk to the river - you may go fly fishing or tubing depending on water level and season. At times we may have moose so be aware of wildlife possibility. In the first half of summer we have a natural cold spring access that feeds into the river. We use this spot as a cold plunge and it will leave you feeling rejuvenated, energized and with lower anxiety. We are happy to share the spot with you. We have robes for you to use if you would like to plunge.
