Wabash Junction Cottage

FIFA guests....we're a great option for your trip. We're an easy 80 minute drive from Arrowhead Stadium. Enjoy a relaxing stay at this quaint farm cottage just two miles west of Carrollton off Highway 10. Completely renovated in ‘22, this 3 bedroom home is perfect for a family, friends or just a quiet getaway. Whether you're on a hunting trip, attending a wedding or visiting family, the Cottage will be a great home away from home. Hunters, if you need a fourth bed send me a message. The space The cottage, built by my grandparents in 1949, was my childhood home. It's a modest home with three bedrooms and one full bath with a shower and another half bath. Two bedrooms have queen beds and one has a full bed. All the bedrooms have generous closets. The kitchen and living room are an open floor plan with a cottage decor. The entry porch doubles as a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. All the appliances are new in 2022. The house has central air and heat and all the bedrooms have ceiling fans. You're welcome to open the windows, but just know there's a lot of dust from the gravel road. T The floors are luxury vinyl tile throughout. The yard is well shaded and there's almost always a nice breeze. You can relax outside sitting on the front or back porches, the picnic table or around a fire you're welcome to build after getting permission. If you enjoy trains, you'll see (and hear) plenty of them! Just across the highway is the junction of the old Wabash (now Norfolk Southern) and Santa Fe railroads. Guest access You'll have access to the first floor of the house. Other things to note We anticipate some guests will want to use the cottage for special gatherings of family and friends. Please let me know in your request what your plans are and whether guests not staying at the cottage will be visiting the property. There may be an additional fee depending on the type of gathering and the number of people involved. We're pet friendly and have a limit of two four-legged guests.
