Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy a few days or weeks stay at this organic and medicinal off grid farm with star studded nights and sunny days. This is an ideal spot to come to surf, work on creative projects, be nourished and inspired by the beautiful apothefinca gardens and maybe do some healing work with your host whose a yoga teacher and osteopath. The space The two bedroom cottage opens up to peaceful gardens where you can relax or wander and explore and learn about the fruit orchard, vegetable and herb garden, or take a walk out the back of the property into the nature reserve to look for spider monkeys and coati's. The bird life on the property is plentiful and you'll likely have howler monkeys wander through the trees around your home once or twice. Guest access During your stay you are welcome to walk around the whole property and explore. Your cottage has a large patio and it's own garden as well as your own parking area. The 5 acre garden has a tropical orchard with mango, citrus, cacao, cinnamon, cashew and various other fruit trees. It has various pathways each lined with 3 rows of edible and medicinal plants. We have an organic vegetable garden where we ensure the beds are nutrient dense using various organic and sustainable growing methods. We also have local, stingless honey bees who live in a branch near the chickens! Plus birds nests, monkeys, a couple of dogs who are friendly though they will bark at new people at first (not bite). At the cottage there's an outdoor shower, a surf rack to use if you are travelling with boards. In doors you'll find two bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms and a kitchen and living room in between. Both bedrooms and the living room have french doors that open out on to patios. On the far side of the orchard behind the mango trees is the hosts property and healing arts studio. You are welcome to plan private yoga classes and herbal medicine workshops up top with Lucy (just ask). Other things to note When you arrive you'll be warmly greeted and shown around. You receive a complimentary Apothecary Bag (freshly picked, organic produce) with your stay. You are welcome to enquire with your host about yoga classes on site in the 3rd floor tree view studio and one on one osteopathic treatments.
