Ratměřice Log House

We present to you our beloved log cabin Ratměřice. Our heartfelt place, which we built fifteen years ago and have been using and refining with love ever since. The log cabin is located in a beautiful semi-secluded area with breathtaking views of the undulating landscape, surrounded by pastures, forests and fields. Behind it, it is protected by two huge sequoias of the chateau park and a deer park, over the hill the mythical mountain Blaník. You will find absolute peace and privacy here. You can get here from Prague in about an hour. The space The log cabin is located in the middle of a large, well-maintained and fully fenced garden (5000 m2) with mature trees providing plenty of shade. The outdoor terrace, covered with a pergola, will offer you a seat in a foldable soft sofa, which can be rearranged into a 180x 200 cm bed to create an outdoor sleeping area under a mosquito net… The massive wooden table is the center for a joint feast for 12 people. There is a Big Green Egg grill, a wine barrel smokehouse, a large fireplace with a cauldron where you can cook, for example, a cauldron goulash. In summer, the garden offers a harvest of raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and cherries. Children will enjoy the garden witch house with a sandbox and there is the possibility to fill the inflatable pool. The property is completely safe for children. It is possible to set up tents if the children want to experience a little adrenaline. And for those who would like to take their horse with them, there is a fenced paddock with a shelter. The Roubenec is dominated by a living room open to the truss with a kitchen, stove and fireplace. On the ground floor you will find 1 bedroom with a "wall to wall" bed 280 X 200 cm, a bathroom with a bathtub and a toilet. On the first floor there is one large room - 1x 180 cm bed and 2x 160 cm bed. So 8-10 people can sleep comfortably here. On the ground floor, there is a Finnish sauna with a cooling bath, or you can fill an outdoor ice bath for cooling. Other things to note A great advantage of the location of the log cabin is its neighborhood with the Ratměřice Castle, where you will find the fantastic Sequoia restaurant for demanding clients. Another great place to eat and sit is the Zájezdní Hostinec Starý Svět (10 km), or the famous Hostinec u Matoušků in Kondrac (12 km). And if you want to have a draft beer in the evening, then you can take a short walk to the traditional local pub (500m) with outdoor seating.
