Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath/shower room, newly renovated (2022) Coastguard Cottage in the tiny hamlet of Soar. Gorgeous coastal retreat with sea views and rolling countryside, just a 15 min walk to the beach at Soar Mill Cove and easy access to the South West Coast Path. A short drive to the bustle of Hope Cove and Salcombe. Cosy wood burning stove, double bi-fold doors leading to sundeck with sea views! Private enclosed garden and parking for 2 cars/car and trailer, child friendly. Sleeps 6 The space The cottage was an original 1872 Coastguard Cottage and has been extended over the years to create a spacious home which has been newly renovated in 2022. Enter into the hall and to your left is the 'Bootroom' for all your sandy shoes and muddy boots - lots of space for coats and additional storage. To the right in the hall is the handy down stairs loo in the 'Laundry Room' with washing machine and tumble drier and cupboards with additional storage. From the hall straight ahead is the open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a sea view and double bi-fold doors giving access to the garden. The lounge has comfy seating, tv and cosy wood burning stove. It's south facing and beautifully sunny with double doors leading to the garden Off the lounge area is the 'Snug' for additional seating or quiet area to shut your self away for a bit of 'working from home' or TV viewing. From the hall take the stairs to the first floor with south facing twin bedroom and north facing purpose built bunk room to suit both adults and children. These room sleep 4 people in full size single beds. Both rooms are served by the 1st floor shower room. Take the next flight of stairs to the top floor kingsize master bedroom with ensuite bath and shower room. These west facing rooms give beautiful views over the farmland all the way to the sea! Guest access Guests have use of the whole house, private gated driveway and garden. The garage is not for guest use.
