Idyllic cottage, quiet and peaceful

On our idyllic small farm we rent out the guest house. Great view of Vatnebuvannet. Private sandy beach and possibility to rent a canoe or boat for recreation or fishing. Gaming hall in the barn with table tennis, air hockey, darts and football. A very nice outdoor area. Here there is a lot to enjoy for both adults and children. The space Cozy house consisting of kitchen, bathroom with shower and washing machine, bunk beds (2 rooms with low ceilings) with a total of 5 beds and living room with sofa bed. (Possibilities to add extra bed). Great location overlooking Vatnebuvannet. Rich wildlife, fishing opportunities with trout and perch, sandy beach, floating jetty and a game room in the barn for both adults and children. If you choose to go for an evening walk, there are great opportunities for you to see deer on your way. The beaver is a common sight in the twilight when using a boat or out of the bedroom window. Just under 1 hour drive to the zoo in Kristiansand, 12 minutes to the charming book town of Tvedestrand and 20 minutes to Arendal which has a rich cultural life with several concerts throughout the summer. There is also a small cozy tropical zoo at Brokelandsheia - about 30 min drive. In summer, there is a small outdoor water park with free access for everyone in Tvedestrand. 5 min away there is an old coastal fort from World War II that is well preserved. About 15 min drive to Arendal Golf Club located on idyllic Nes Verk. The course is considered one of the country's absolute best with both 18 holes and 9 holes course. There is also a marked trail around Vatnebuvannet, about 6 km to walk around. We have hens and like to see that our guests can also enjoy fresh eggs. In June, there are calves on pasture. During the summer there will also be horses and sheep on one of the fields. Guest access Grill, boat, fire pan, "party room" in the basement can be borrowed by appointment. Cot, step stool, duvets and pillows are available, but bed linen and towels must be brought. Possibilities for renting fishing and golf equipment. Various outdoor toys such as stilts, horseshoe throwing, ring games, balance line, zipline, frisbee golf etc. are welcome to be used. Of course, the game room in the barn with air hockey, football, table tennis and darts can also be used. Other things to note We are engaged in honey production and have beehives on the farm. These are not a nuisance but contribute to a rich and great flower life. We are a visiting beehive farm. Let us know if you want to visit the bees and see how life in a beehive is. Bee suits can be borrowed. If you want to buy honey, this is also possible.
