Comfortable and private single-person bedroom with home-cooked breakfast in a beautiful Victorian house overlooking the historic Blakers Park in Brighton. Public electric car charger outside our house. Louis the labradoodle We have the adorable Louis who works as a therapy dog in nursing homes. He is famous around Brighton. The space You will be booking a comfortable and private single-person bedroom complete with a study desk, chair and superfast 112 Mbps Internet access. The room forms part of a beautiful Victorian house where I live with my Tracy, my wife and Theo, my son. We also sometimes have a student from the University of Brighton or Sussex staying with us. You will also be provided with a breakfast of cereals, locally roasted ground drip-filtered coffee or tea and the option of my tasty poached eggs on brown toast. Guest access As well as exclusive and private use of your bedroom, you will have shared access to the rest of the house and a beautiful private garden. We have a top floor ‘wet room’ that has a shower with a roof top view of the park or enjoy a relaxing bath. Please also make use of the private garden where you can rest or enjoy breakfast. Or relax in the main living room and watch a Netflix movie. During your stay I work from a top floor home office so will be available to help with any questions about the house or neighbourhood. I live at the house with Tracy, my wife. We have two children, Grace and Theo, who are sometimes also at the house. However Grace is presently studying at the University of Manchester and so only home during her study breaks. I am always pleased to help with travel arrangements around Brighton, local recommendations or anything else that ensures you have a great time staying with us. Other things to note Please note that the single room comfortably sleeps just one adult (age 18+).
