The 'North Shore Fisherman's Cabin' is a restored historic fisherman's home built of logs around 1900. You are right in the heart of town and near the harbor. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a huge dining room, gas fireplace, front porch and yard. Dog fees apply, if bringing a dog please pay the appropriate fees in advance. $100 per dog. Sauna is available on a first come first served basis and is private- message owner to verify availability prior to completing your reservation. The first day for Up to 8 people total, 6 are included in the base rate. Additional guests 7 and 8 are $30 per person per night. Infants up to 24 months free, not to exceed 8 person total. Children 25 months and older are charged as adults. Instructions will be emailed prior to arrival. We like to interact and we try to check in just to make sure everything is OK. We are often about on the property doing projects and grounds work, so if you see someone working or pulling in and out of the driveway to the Boathouse- that's us! Wave and say hi. We love to talk about the property and get to know our guests but we aren't pushy. We may have some helpers covering for us if we are out of town but they are experienced, throughly vetted and very good people. We are only a stone's throw from the harbor of Grand Marais. We are uniquely situated to be in the heart of town without being on a busy street. The lake keeps us cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It really is a charmed location.
