Welcome to our spacious three bedroom home nearby Devil’s Lake and Wisconsin Dells! You’re only 6 miles from the lake and 12 miles from the heart of the Dells. Enjoy our modern home with rustic decor. Our home is on the edge of the city of Baraboo, so you’re close to the action but far enough away to feel like you’re in the country. You’ll feel at home with a full kitchen, large deck that overlooks the woods, laundry room, game center, and an 89” TV in the living room. Our home is perfect for both a relaxing getaway or an adventure filled weekend. Enjoy sipping coffee on the deck with the birds chirping or gathering around the island enjoying a cocktail before your ride picks you up for a night out in the Dells. Maybe you’re looking for both options. We’ve got you covered. You’ll have full access to the main living areas. This includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and laundry room. The deck and entire outside are of private use to you as well. The basement and the garage are off limits to guests. My wife and I are (almost) always reachable by phone. In the off chance we’re not, we do have our property manager who is always within close range, should there be a need for assistance. Our neighborhood is calm and caring. The type of folks who always look out for each other. Often times we race to see who can shovel each other’s sidewalks and driveways first in the winter. Please be respectful of their space and of your noise volume, specifically at night. Don’t be surprised if you get a friendly hello if they see you outside. If you’re one that likes to save money and buy your groceries, instead of eating out for every meal there is a local grocery store a mile down the road. It also has a gas station so it’s the perfect spot to fill up as well. They also have an air hose if you need to fill up the tires. This store has just about everything you’ll need. With our full kitchen, you'll be able to make just about anything you'd want with your purchases. Our kitchen includes: -Glasses -Plates and bowls -Silverware -Pots and pans -Casserole dishes -Mixing bowls -Muffin pan -Serving dishes -Coffee cups -Cheese grater -Measuring cups -Cutting boards -Onion dicer -Pitcher -Knives -Food thermometer -Can opener -Ice cream scooper -Wine opener -Pizza cutter -Potato masher -Rolling pin -Assorted utensils such as tongs, spatula, ladle, etc -Panini maker (my favorite thing!) -Quesadilla maker -Toaster -Crock pot (single larger one) -Crock pot (three smaller side by side) -Hand mixer If something isn't listed here that you need, let us know and we can see if we can wrangle something up for your use. Places to get groceries around us include: -Pierce's Express Market (this is the closest to our house), Walmart, Aldi's, and Festival Foods. We do have multiple Kwik-Trips and other gas stations that will have a small selection to choose from as well. Other stores you'll possibly be interested in that are around the area if you need something in a pinch are: -Walmart, Menards, Farm & Fleet, Home Depot, Kohl's, Outlet of the Dells (has a lot of clothing stores), Dollar Tree, and an assortment of other stores. Olympus Our home is at the end of a smaller sub-division. We live on a corner lot with both sides being a dead end. It provides for ample parking, including two driveway parking spots. We do have Ubers and Lyfts, but it’s hit or miss on how often drivers are available. Baraboo offers a unique amenity, and that’s called Bar Buddies. We have a wonderful downtown area called the square. If you find you’d be safer to not drive, Bar Buddies offers a free ride home. They operate on tips if you feel appreciative. They also offer a ride to various bars around the area for a small nominal fee (depends on the group size, but around $3-5/person I believe). Ho-Chunk casino is located nearby and they also provide transportation to the casino. Getting back is a little trickier, because they only transport back to hotels. Bar Buddies may be willing to drop off and pick up though. There are also a number of taxi services around the area as well. We all like to be comfortable, especially while on vacation. For that reason we have put you and your family/friends in mind when designing our place. Please enjoy an Alexa device in each bedroom and the kitchen. You’ll be able to listen to music in any area of the house. Each bedroom has a TV that contains Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and other streaming apps, ceiling fan, portable fan, and a luggage rack (so you don’t have to place your bag on the floor or bed). In each bedroom you’ll also find a nightstand on each side with a lamp and coaster; because we all get thirsty at times and don’t want to have to rely on someone else to turn a light on or pass us our water (or whatever you might be drinking). The master bedroom has a connected, private bathroom. While the two upstairs bedrooms are close to the guest bathroom. The master bedroom and the other two bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house, separated by the dining room, living room, and kitchen. While families with children are certainly welcome, please keep in mind that it is not "child" proof. There are decorations that are breakable, two smaller sets of staircases that are off the living room that don't have gates, and the outlets are not covered. Prior to your stay we can remove the more easily breakable items if you'd like. Please just ask in advance so we can do so. We don't have gates available for the stairs though and would prefer not to use any due to the damage they can cause on the walls. **Please note, we do not allow pets in our home** We love them as much as the next person, and have a couple dogs of our own, however our no pet policy is strict. In the winter we do take the outdoor furniture and decorations inside to prevent unneccesary damage from the inclement weather.
