Wooden double doors lead into the house and open to the living room, which feels bright and spacious thanks to the minimal, uncluttered decor. The open-plan space incorporates the sitting & dining areas and sleek fitted kitchen. There are comfortable sofas around a large coffee table and flat-screen satellite Tv (limited channels/news only) & Dvd player, for those evening when total relaxation is a must. Adjacent to this is the dining area, with a large table & chairs for 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped and has a breakfast bar, as well as oven & hob, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is a glass door out onto the lower terrace and swimming pool. A real suntrap, the rear courtyard encompasses the terrace and pool with sun loungers alongside. Cool off with a dip in the pristine pool, or sit and enjoy an evening drink before heading out to one of the large selection of restaurants in Pollensa. The balcony terraces on the upper floors offer atmospheric views across the stone walls and rooftops of old Pollensa. Upstairs are two simple yet comfortable twin bedrooms, which share a full bathroom, whilst the double bedroom on this floor has an en-suite shower room. Heading upstairs again, the fourth bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom and a dressing room. All 4 bedrooms have fitted wardrobe and air conditioning / heating units. Sant Sebastia is a very stylish villa holiday base for those seeking to be in the heart of things with authentic Mallorca right outside the door, whilst being in striking distance of beaches and countryside. Pollensa’s Sunday market, held in the main square just 200m from the villa, is not to be missed. And be sure to soak up the atmosphere and real Pollensa by taking time to explore the maze of small back streets, churches, museums and shops. Please note, the streets are not ideal for traffic, and although Sant Sebastia villa does not have parking, there is a no-parking area which is very helpful for loading and unloading. Car hire is not essential here, the local bus connects you to Puerto Pollenca and Cala San Vicenc (both just 7 Km. away). Please be aware that lively fiestas take place in Pollença between the end of July and August, 2nd and the spectacular "Davallament" procession takes place in the centre of the town on Good Friday. The villa and pool is for your private use only as well as the garden. Bed linen & towels are provided as well as pool towels. The cleaner will come in during your stay & change them, depending on how many days you are staying. All of this is included in the price. El Pont Roma, the roman bridge on the edge of the town is living evidence of Pollencas Roman origins and subsequently each generation has left its mark without overwhelming this delightful small town. Wandering through the narrow cobbled streets you will find many lovely old churches plus numerous small art galleries and handicraft shops, the perfect trip out from a Pollenca villa holiday A pause for coffee and a pastry is recommended before climbing the tree lined Calvari steps – there are 365 of them, one for every day of the year – amply rewarded at the summit by panoramic views across to the northernmost tip of the island from the Calvari church! If you are here during Easter, then you will be lucky enough to witness the moving procession on Good Friday, when a figure of Christ is removed from a cross and carried down the steps by torchlight. The months of August and September have much to offer music lovers as Pollenca hosts its annual classical music festival with many concerts and at any time of year, bon viveurs will find a number of outstanding restaurants as well as small tapas bars tucked away behind the impressive central square. Outside the town the rolling countryside is excellent for walkers and for a day by the sea, Puerto Pollenca with its lovely beaches, is only a 5-minute drive away.
