Mascoma Lakehouse, Enfield, New Hampshire

Welcome to Mascoma Lake so I can share it with you. As I have grown up on this lake, I want to give others the opportunity to enjoy my little piece of home. The house is in a quiet and established neighborhood right on the lake for swimming, relaxing, and boating. The space Enjoy your summertime visit on the lake with full use of the whole house, porch, yard, shorefront and lake. I offer a weekend rate vs a weekday rate - balancing out for a longer stay. Guest access You have the whole house to yourselves, so you will have four bedrooms, two on the main floor (queens) and two upstairs (queen and bunk with full and twin plus one more twin). Full bath downstairs with jacuzzi tub and shower and upstairs full bath. Also, the rest of the house! Fully appointed kitchen, dining room and living room, plus the best feature is the front screened porch overlooking the lake. I have TVs with players for DVD, VHS and a Roku tv in the living room. I do not have cable and you can use the Roku to sign in to your own accounts. I will be nearby if you need anything but will leave you to your privacy to enjoy your time on the lake together. During rental times, I live in the apartment above the detached garage near the driveway. Other things to note From our location at the south end of Mascoma Lake, we are 15 minutes from Lebanon, NH, 20 minutes from Hanover and Dartmouth College. To the south, New London is just 20 minutes. Locally, I can direct you to hiking trails within a short walk to Smith Pond or a short drive to various sites like Cardigan Mountain or larger climbs on the AT. I have steps down to a swimming area and a ramp for non-motorized boat launching. In winter, the lake is frozen normally from late December to early April. Activities on the ice are at one’s own risk. Ice fishing, skating, xc skiing, snowshoeing, all activities on and around Mascoma Lake. The Mascoma Skating Club clears a skating trail on the lake near Shaker Bridge, open to all. For downhill skiers, we’re near Mt Sunapee, Whaleback, and the Dartmouth Skiway The town of Enfield has a restriction limiting fireworks to Friday and Saturday nights, 5 to 10:30. 4th of July is an exception - to include July 3 and 4. Let me know if you plan to shoot off your own fireworks. This restriction means you will have peaceful evenings Sunday - Thursday and possible shows to view around the lake on the weekends :)
