Charming gîte in the middle of nature with an exceptional view of the Pic Saint-Loup, in the heart of the prestigious Pic Saint-Loup vineyards. The estate is located in Le Rouet, in the Hérault region, between Montpellier (35 minutes) and the Cévennes, a UNESCO World Heritage site (20 minutes). The space On two levels: Ground floor: Living room with TV, **sofa changed in January 2023**, open kitchen with counter, **kitchen utensils changed in January 2023**, dining area, spacious shower with WC. Parental room, high quality bedding **changed in 2023**, double bed 160*200cm. Laundry room with washing machine, ironing facilities and hoover. First floor: bedroom with 3 single beds 90*200cm, high quality bedding**changed in 2023**, 1 coat hook, 1 chest of drawers, 3 bedside tables. Outside: Terrace and garden with exceptional view of the Pic Saint-Loup, **outdoor table and garden furniture (deckchairs and armchairs) changed in 2023**, barbecue. Access to the 85m² infinity pool, open from May to October inclusive 24 hours a day. The pool is shared by 4 gîtes, but rarely more than 5 to 7 people at the same time. Its beaches are spacious and equipped with deckchairs and parasols. The swimming pool is completely secure, surrounded by protective fences. Children's play area in the shade of the large trees: swing, tree house and secure trampoline. Surroundings : The only habitat nestled in the heart of a 720ha protected area (ZNIEFF) surrounded by Natura 2000, the Domaine is located near the Lamalou river in an environment rich in its faunistic, floristic and ornithological diversity. Other rivers are located 20 to 40 minutes from the gîte and offer numerous opportunities for swimming, including the Cascade de la Vis and the magnificent Buèges river. The immediate environment is also rich in prehistoric remains. For example, the Lamalou dolmen, a funerary monument built during the Final Neolithic period, has been listed since 1959 and is located 250 metres from the gîtes. It is characterised by its dry stone tumulus, its two funerary chambers and its straight access corridor. The gîte is also the starting point for some very nice paths to discover the surrounding garrigue and the Hortus and Pic Saint Loup massifs. Mushroom pickers will particularly appreciate the spring (morels) and autumn (girolles)! Finally, as this is a vineyard area, there are many wine cellars inviting you to taste the wines and very good restaurants with local products are available all around.
