Cosy cottage-style accommodation in the heart of Hartford village! Close to stylish pubs & restaurants, country parks, family attractions and The Grange Theatre. Less than 2 miles from Northwich and under an hour from Manchester, Liverpool & Chester. The space The cottage consists of a kitchen-dinner, sitting room, 2 double bedrooms (1 with a double bed, one with a small double ) and WC/shower room. WiFi and electric-heating throughout. Smart plugs & USB sockets available. Recently decorated. Outdoor seating area and off-road parking included. Downstairs, the front door leads directly into a cottage-style kitchen-diner complete with characterful beamed ceilings. It comes equipped with a half-size AGA cooker + hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine etc - plus, you can dine in style at the bistro table complete with 4 Pedrali bar stools. Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, cleaning products & cloths all provided. Leading off from the kitchen, the cosy downstairs sitting-room contains a cute “toffee shop” window, Laura Ashley sofa, Ercol cabinet + TV with an Amazon firestick connected to high speed broadband - with stairs leading up to the first floor. Upstairs, there are two beamed double bedrooms and a WC/shower room. Steps lead off the landing to the larger bedroom which contains a full-sized double bed, pretty period fireplace (non-working), wardrobe, chest of drawers + TV. The smaller bedroom contains a small double bed. Leading off the same upstairs landing you’ll find a compact shower room with WC & washbasin. Towels and bedding are provided. Please be aware that the property is semi-detached with me (the owner) living next door. However, although this means I’ll often be around to answer questions or deal with any queries you might have, I’ll leave you to your own devices otherwise! To the front of the main property you’ll find your own outdoor seating area for 4. Located to the left of my house and just to the side of Elmfield Cottage, it’s a nice place for guests to relax and unwind. The property as a whole benefits from being surrounded by a variety of well-established & magnificent looking trees. Not only does this enhance the outdoor area in general, it also helps shield the accommodation from both neighbours and noise. A great place to enjoy a glass of something nice in the dappled sunshine before heading off to eat at one of the nearby eateries. Remember, although I welcome pets and children, because the outdoor area isn’t fully enclosed, your little ones (furry or otherwise) will need supervision at all times. Guest access Please be aware that the cottage is semi-detached with me (the owner) living next door. However, although this means I’ll often be around to answer questions or deal with any queries you might have, I’ll leave you to your own devices unless you need me! Also, you’ll have your own entrance and the accommodation is completely separate from mine in every other respect. Just to the side of the cottage you’ll find your own outdoor seating area for 4; located to the left of the main house and next to the parking area and driveway. NB There is off-road parking available for 2 guest-vehicles here. Please be aware that although your outdoor seating area is exclusively for your own use, because it’s situated off a gravelled driveway shared with me, you might sometimes see me arriving and leaving etc. Also, although we welcome pets and children, because this outdoor and parking area isn’t fully enclosed - and shared with me to some extent - your little ones (furry or otherwise) will need adult supervision at all times. Other things to note Ignore the gate that leads to the property from the main road. There’s another driveway that approaches the property from the side which is easier to access. If in doubt, park up next door at the vets and check out the access to the cottage on foot first.
