Tucked away in beautiful rural Norfolk, an elegant Shepherd’s Hut with far reaching views over the Norfolk countryside. There is an abundance of local amenities in the market town of Wymondham just 3 miles away. The Hut has open plan living with a private modern bathroom, with a range of new appliances, and a fire pit to cosy up to after a day of exploring or walking around the countryside. The Owl’s Rest is the perfect get away for rest and relaxation, in elegant and modern surroundings. The space The Owl’s Rest is in a beautiful location for privacy and seclusion, nestled away in a private corner of our farm, it’s a wonderful place for a countryside escape. Underfloor heating is available for all year round warmth and comfort. The brand new, hand crafted hut comprises a sumptuous double bed owith open plan living which includes a modern kitchen, sitting room area and a private en-suite bathroom with a waterfall shower. Fresh linens and towels will be provided for your stay. The kitchen is handmade from local oak and includes all the modern appliances you need to enjoy your stay, toaster, kettle, microwave and electric hob. All cooking equipment is here ready for those of you who like to cook. There is an integrated fridge/freezer also. Enjoy alfresco dining in your own secluded space outside, or we have a hand crafted dining area inside complete with slate placemats, cutlery, plates, bowls and glasses for the perfect romantic meal for two. Sit back and relax in the sitting room area, perfect for taking off your walking boots or dancing shoes, and curling up with a book or each other whilst enjoying the far reaching countryside views. Outside in your private, secluded garden there is a firepit to enjoy while gazing at the starry skies on a clear night. For those more adventurous cooks the firepit comes with a BBQ top, with some firewood and cooking equipment provided for you. *see extra notes below about fire wood. Tea, coffee, milk, included to welcome you during your stay. For those who want to stay connected to the wider world, the 4G signal here is good, but cannot be guaranteed. However, we recommend taking a break from life's distractions, and enjoying everything The Owl's Rest has to offer, we look forward to welcoming you to your own corner of heaven. Guest access You will have access to your own private area of the farm. There are lovely walks and bridleways surrounding the area. Other things to note * Fire Pit- We supply enough wood and lighters for 1/2 fires (depending on size) for your stay. Should you like more fires we advice bringing extra wood and lighters with you. We ask kindly that you do not help yourself to our stock as we will run low for other guests. Thank you. *Lotus guests- Should you be working with Lotus Cars you are granted access to walk through our farmland to and from work - please notify us in advance. No vehicle access is allowed through the farm. * PLEASE NOTE* On occasion you may hear the Lotus Cars test track in the distance. This is sporadic and not at length neither do they use the track everyday.
