Laurier Lookout is located on the middle floor of a beautifully finished cottage situated on Lake Ontario. The 165 feet of waterfront property includes a private beach (flat rocks), a view of the Sandbanks beach from the waterfront, kayaks, paddle board, satellite tv, wireless internet, Sandbanks beach pass ($125 value) and a beach volleyball court. It is only a 10 minute drive to Sandbanks and a 15 minute drive to Picton. There are many wineries and microbreweries within driving distance. We are a family oriented rental unit. For more pictures or information, please contact the owner. Guest access You will have a private entrance that leads to the middle floor of the cottage. The entire floor will be dedicated to you and includes the following: three bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, living area, 1 bathroom and balcony. Other guests may be staying on the first floor of the cottage during your stay. Cottage has a private waterfront that is shared amongst all guests of the cottage. Other things to note Upon booking the Laurier Suite, guests agree to the following terms: ******************************************************************************************* PROPERTY POLICIES The tenant agrees to comply with the following property policies: -The Tenant is responsible for all the guests occupying the Rental Property -Pets are not allowed on the premises. -Smoking is restricted to outdoors and guests are to use the disposable containers provided. -Maximum occupancy is 6 people at any time. -Occupancy of the premises shall be sufficiently quiet so as to not disturb others in the neighbourhood and volume shall be kept at a minimum between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. -Garbage and recycling are to be handled as specified in the information sheet provided with the rental property. -The tenant is expected to leave the rental property in the same condition as it was upon arrival. -The tenant agrees to vacate the rental property by 10:00 AM on the day of check out. -Rental property related concerns or problems must be reported by the tenant during occupancy in order to give the owner an opportunity to resolve the issue. Refunds and discounts will not be issued for concerns reported after checkout. -Subletting of the Rental Property is not permitted. -Camping, tenting, trailers or other additional accommodation facilities will not be allowed. PETS -Pets are not permitted. DAMAGES & SECURITY/CLEANING DEPOSIT -A 200$ security deposit shall be held by AirBnb and will be claimed for any of the following: -damage to the property or furnishings; -excessive noise and disrespectful behaviour; -having more guests than stated in the contract; -mess requiring excessive cleaning; or -any other cost incurred to the owner due to the guest’s stay. RESPONSIBILITY -Owner shall not be responsible for any accident or injuries occurring to the tenant or guests of the tenant while occupying the rental property. In addition, the tenant undertakes to indemnify and hold owner harmless against any and all loss, claims, causes of action, demands and/or costs and expenses that may be incurred by the tenant in relation to the rental of the rental property. ******************************************************************************************* Prince Edward County has implemented a new tax called the Prince Edward County short term rental tax.
