Two fireplaces providing warmth and ambiance on cooler evenings! - Well equipped, updated kitchen for preparing memorable meals. - First floor Master Bedroom and Full Bath convenience. - We are not 100% handicap accessible but we have a portable ramp for use that will make 1st floor living much easier for those with mobility limitations. - Main level laundry room so you can pack a little lighter. - 3 additional bedrooms and full bath upstairs. - Enjoy being on the water with the convenience of 4 adult kayaks, paddles and life vests. You can dock them right at the property on the 14’ dock with access ramp. (Available seasonally, ask for details.) - Outdoor covered patio and outdoor dining area. - Lake views from the cozy yard with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. - Enjoy biking the area on 2 provided bikes for guest use. - Outdoor shower so you can leave what remains from the trails and beach outside. Guests will have access to the whole house and yard with the exception of garage and two utility closets. As your hosts, my wife and I are just a short trip away in Oneida if our presence is requested. Otherwise we are very responsive to calls, texts or messages sent through the Airbnb format. Maintenance is also readily available in the event of an emergency repair arising. The neighborhood consists of many year around homes and privately owned camps. We ask that all guests respect property lines, neighbors privacy and most of all their peaceful enjoyment provided by Oneida Lake. We have parking for 4 vehicles in the paved driveway. Both Gary’s Restaurant and the Oneida Lake Brew Haus are within walking distance as well as Verona Beach State Park; with its beach, non-motorized launch and miles of trails! There is a gas grill for use outside with back-up tank of propane. We do not supply wood for the fire pit but there are several private roadside sellers all around the lake and one is usually set up right across the street. Enjoy direct access to the lake on the property as there are steps with platform leading to a ramp and 14’ dock over a beautiful, rocky sea wall. Also, just 8/10th’s of a mile up the street is Verona Beach State Park which has a free, manual boat launch for non-motorized craft. The Sylvan Beach Supply Co. has bike rentals, watercraft rentals plus more to ensure that there is plenty of “fun in the Sun”.
