Description
This adorable barn was converted by my dad and I, using as many upcycled materials as possible. Where we couldn't use recycled materials we sourced locally ( All the timber was processed 5 minutes away!) The Barn comes with its own enclosed south facing garden and personal vegetable patch you can harvest from! We are located 334m above sea level in the Tamar Valley and within walking distance to Kit Hill Country Park. The views from the barn are incredible especially at sun rise! The space We have tried to keep as much character in the barn as possible! Keeping the galvanised doors was a must so we transformed the old storage area into a lovely ensuite. Almost all of the wood used inside has been repurposed, we saved it from being thrown away and gave it some love. The decking area and hot tub are both very spacious giving you a lovely place to enjoy the weather and dine outdoors. The barn comes with a BBQ, firepit, sun loungers and plenty of outdoor seating. If you have friends staying in one of our other listings you are more than welcome to use the area together. Please click on my host profile to see other accommodation. The Carpenters Arms, our favourite local pub, is just 8 minutes away for great food and a true Cornish welcome & our guests say how much it adds to their stay. Guest access Guests are free to wonder around the top 9 acre field and meet other campers. Please keep out of any buildings and keep an eye on your children. The country park is only a short walk away and offers spectacular views whilst on beautiful walks up to the quarry. Other things to note We also have a double decker bus, an authentic gypsy wagon, and our 'Tamara' cabin on the farm. If you would like a group stay, click on our profile to view our other listings.
