Jaya33 and Jaya shopping mall, 10 minutes walk, have lots of pretty quiet restaurants, Starbucks etc. Taman Jaya (a large park around the lake) is the next stop. JayaOne shopping center is quite chic, a local library is within walking distance. Grab taxi to Bangsar is RM7-15 more or less, where Alliance Française and several French restaurants are located
