2 Bedroom Guest Suite B&B Machynlleth A470 Powys

We’d love to welcome you to our stunning guest suite set in the village of Cemaes, a former schoolhouse you will be staying in what was originally the school cloakrooms! Cemaes is close to the historical town of Machynlleth and Snowdonia National Park. Beautiful views await you along with lots of things to do and see. Whether walking, biking or just enjoying a lunch in a pretty town or visiting tourist interests there is plenty to do here. The Dyfi Valley is a designated UNESCO Biosphere. The space The space: recently converted guest suite consisting of 2 bedrooms and a shower room, with a private entrance, all on ground floor level. Sleeps 4 in 2 rooms: 1 king size bed and 1 trundle bed (2x single bed size that pulls out from underneath the other) A Jack & Jill shower room connects the two rooms which is solely for guest use. There is a smart TV in the king size room as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The trundle bed room has a dining area and mini fridge. The rooms shown in the pictures are available for your use…there is no kitchen in the guest suite. We can provide a optional breakfast at an extra cost, there is a menu to choose from, please order either when you book or before 8pm on the evening of your stay. You are welcome to use the garden, it has a stunning view of the Dyfi Valley and there are plenty of sitting areas to enjoy. We do also have a small pond just for reference if you have small children. Guest access You’ll have your own personal space with access to the suite at the front of the house. The front door opens onto the original school corridor now the hallway, here you can leave coats and shoes etc. The suite is situated on the left, you can access both bedrooms from the hallway or go through the jack and jill en-suite. We also provide a secure lock up for bikes, access to this is in the garage opposite the front door with lock box entry. During your stay We will welcome you and provide any information as required, we like to leave you to enjoy your break but are on hand if you need anything. Other things to note A few further details to note: * Breakfast is optional and an extra cost, please let us know if you'd like it before 7:30pm on the evening of your stay. There is a breakfast menu available in the guest suite. * If you are having breakfast it is served between 7:30am and 9:00am (please let us know when you order what time you'd like it) it is then set delivered to you at the agreed time to enjoy inside your room or outside if the weather allows! *We have a small dog (Alfie) he may bark to start with but soon settles down. He is not allowed in the guest suite. *We live on site. *We have a large private driveway area to park please let us know if there will be more than 1 car. Vehicles are left at owners risk. *There is a lovely cafe & shop, Ty Cemaes in the village along with a pub and a play park. All within 5 minutes walking distance. *We are located on the ‘Mach loop’ where low flying military aircraft sometimes pass over on training exercises during the week only. There are great views of them from the garden but please be aware some are very fast and loud. *We are just off the A470 so some traffic noise is to be expected. * We come from catering and hospitality backgrounds so you can be sure you’re in safe hands, we are happy to answer any queries you may have.
