Skapya Treehouse takes escapism to another level. Set high among the trees, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a canopy of mature oak, beech, and ash. From your private balcony, you’re eye level with the canopy. At dawn and dusk, watch for woodpeckers, owls, and even bats as the forest comes to life around you. A short walk leads to your own secluded area, complete with a log-fired hot tub. Please note: Depending on the ambient temperature, the hot tub may take 2–3 hours to reach optimal heat. The space Skapya’s Nordic-inspired interior has been thoughtfully designed to make every stay feel indulgent and restorative. The beautifully crafted Scandinavian-style kitchen features a sleek black Neff induction hob and combi oven, while the Ekol log burner, complete with integrated oven and hotplate, creates the perfect cosy atmosphere for slow mornings and relaxed evenings in. Logs, kindling and matches are all provided, so you can settle in from the moment you arrive. There’s also a Bluetooth LP player, Smart TV, superfast broadband and WiFi for the perfect balance of comfort and entertainment. At the far end of the cabin, the peaceful bedroom invites you to unwind in a feather-soft king sized bed dressed in luxurious Piglet in Bed linen. A floor-to-ceiling glass door opens onto your own private balcony, where you can wake slowly with a morning coffee or soak up the surrounding views. The separate shower room is equally inviting, featuring a drenching rainforest shower, heated towel rail, WC and basin, alongside locally handmade toiletries for an extra touch of luxury. Guest access From the gravelled parking area, there is a single step and a gentle slope leading to the treehouse via an otherwise level pathway. At the entrance, there is a very small step (approximately 5 cm) into the treehouse. Once inside, all living spaces are conveniently arranged on a single level. Outside, guests can enjoy the private patio and woodland surroundings, accessed by a pathway that combines gravel and woodchip surfaces. The route meanders gently through the trees with some slight rises and falls, allowing you to fully experience the natural setting. Other things to note Make the most of the outdoor spaces during your stay with our portable barbecue, picnic basket and picnic rugs, perfect for relaxed lunches or evenings surrounded by nature. Just a 5-minute walk away you'll find a village deli and shop, a riverside café and a traditional pub. The National Seal Sanctuary is also nearby, making it a great day out for guests of all ages. Some of Cornwall's beautiful beaches are only a 10-minute drive away, while scenic walks can be enjoyed directly from your doorstep, whether you're exploring the Helford River, ancient woodland or the surrounding countryside.
