This is a gorgeous sky high apartment in Hackney, overlooking the marshes and canal you get beautiful green views as well as the city built up in the background. It's truly breathtaking. The flat is bright and spacious and designed to be a haven from city life. Come retreat, relax and choose from hundreds of books to read. There is space for yoga, meditation and to put your feet up. The space This is my home and I love it. I have made it a place to escape the hecticness of the city and retreat back into yourself. I just re-decorated and refurnished the place over Christmas/Jan and so everything is new including the really soft carpet in the bedroom. I have carefully chosen everything and I go by the William Morris quote of "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." I live a sustainable and healthy lifestyle and my space reflects that. It is designed to give you space to think, feel and be. It's in an iconic high rise building that was built in the 70's - it's the only high rise in the area and so the views are spectacular from the 18th floor and you feel a peaceful detachment from the business of the city. The building exterior was renovated last year. If you are looking for a space where you can rest, do yoga, meditate and read than this is the perfect place for you! I have all the props which you are welcome to use. The bedroom is bigger than it looks in the photos (I took them all myself so they don't capture the place as well as I would like). There are soft carpets in there as well as a comfy double bed (with luxury linen), and plenty of place to store your things (a built in wardrobe, a set of drawers) as well as a desk and chair. My favourite thing are the forest curtains, so when you have had enough of the city you can retreat back into nature! The views from the bedroom and the living room are very green - with the park, canal and marshes in the immediate view and the city behind. You can watch the sunrise and the moonrise, and from the kitchen you can see all over the city of London including the London Eye and The Shard and watch the sunset over it.
