When leaving, press the SCHLAGE button to automatically lock up. ENTRANCE: Drop your keys, hats, shoes, etc. at the door on the storage bench and convenient wall-mounted hooks rack. Sneak a peek in the mirror as you head out the door, too! BEDROOMS: Our home offers 3 bedrooms to fit your entire family -- or couple friends! Master bedroom is outfitted with a king bed, dresser, closet and a private, spacious bath. Being an end unit, you get extra lighting in our place -- with a window in the bath and extra window in the bedroom. Guest bedroom offers a queen bed, dresser and closet. The "bunk room" provides a twin over full bed, with a storage hutch and hooks for towels, clothes, bags, etc. BATHROOMS: There is a full bathroom in the hall, with a shower, toilet, sink, cabinet and ample hooks/towel bars to hang your various items. The master bath has a double sink, a shower, large tub, and extra towel hooks and bars for convenience. DINING: The large glass dining table seats 6, plus there are 3 bar stools for dining at the granite-topped kitchen island. Outdoors, the patio offers seating for 4 at the high top glass table with bar stools. KITCHEN: You have all of the essentials and more: refrigerator, freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, oven, stove, InstantPot, coffee maker, French press, toaster oven, toaster, bread machine, pots, pans, baking dishes, silverware, plates, cups, wine glasses. Granite counters throughout kitchen, with ample storage in the island and in the tall wall pantry. LIVING ROOM: Enjoy the evening sunset view from the living room/dining area expanse of wall to wall windows. All day long you get gorgeous water views of Bogue Sound without the intense direct sun. When you want to just relax, enjoy the large screen TV, various DVDs, board games, etc. from the large couch, smaller sofa or 2 armchairs. STORAGE UNIT: Keep the sand outside... store your daily beach gear in a locked storage closet in the covered parking area. Feel free to borrow any of our 6 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 2 boogie boards, and collapsible wagon to enjoy the beach. PORCH: With our long 27-foot balcony, bright but not in direct sunlight until sunset, you can enjoy the gorgeous view of Bogue Sound from the high top table with 4 bar stools for dining, a section couch, 2 outdoor chairs and side table, along with an antigravity lounge for relaxing. LAUNDRY: Feel free to take advantage of our stacked brand new LG HE washer and dryer in the hall closet. PARKING: 2 cars are permitted at our unit at a time -- PLEASE DISPLAY THE PARKING PASS TO AVOID BEING TOWED. There are 4 slots for covered parking — you can take only 1 slot at all times, but you can park yourself in — in the same slot if you have a second car in your group. Covered parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Outdoor parking is available otherwise. In the event our area runs out of parking spots, you can park outside at other buildings — be sure your parking pass is displayed on your dash. SECURITY: Our HOA provides onsite security, located in the Clubhouse, on the ocean side of the property. NO SMOKING policy both inside our home and on our deck, around our furnishings. NO PETS allowed in our home due to severe allergies. All areas are accessible to guests except the locked owners closet in the home hallway. Hello — welcome to our beach retreat! We are here to answer your questions about our home or solve any issues that arise to ensure your visit is relaxing and enjoyable. Please don’t hesitate to reach out! Indian Beach is smack dab in the middle of the island, equidistant from Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach. On each end, we are blessed with unique and worthy to visit NC State Parks: Ft. Macon (for the history buffs) and Hammocks State Park and ferry to Bear Island (for the naturalists). Our section remains fairly quiet and peaceful, not fully developed, with very few commercial offerings. The major grocery stores are 15 minutes away on Emerald Isle (Publix/Food Lion) or Atlantic Beach (Food Lion), where there is more commercial activity and greater population density. We are blessed with numerous tourist attractions for families: Salty Pirate Waterpark, mini golf, go cart/motor sports, and even a movie theater. There seems to be something for all ages to do beyond the usual pool and beach scene! Parking for 2 cars is included with this rental. Be sure to display our guest pass in your dashboard or risk getting towed! (Extra cars must be parked off premises.) Covered parking is first-come, first-served — only 1 slot may be taken under covered parking — do not block anyone in except your own party! Outdoor parking is also available. No smoking inside our home, including outside on the back deck area. Community grilling areas (charcoal) are located on both the Sound and Ocean sides. No on-premises grilling permitted due to fire hazard. Our HOA rules state that no towels are to be hung from the balconies. Take advantage of the extra beach towels provided for your enjoyment, and let our cleaning crew take care of the rest.
